You see that Jo?
We are the young ones here... heehhe.
Sharkb- We have to remember your b-day and bake you a cake...as fast as we can.
A bit OT- But that is seriously nothing new for me...
Update on Grammies hair loss and Lil'l Diz Man.
I had a talk with my little guy.
I started it by asking if he remembers seeing people who do not have hair?
Yes
I asked him if he remembered why they don't have hair?
Yes... because they are sick. Really sick.
I asked how it makes him feel when he sees people who have no hair?
Sad. I wish they could have nice hair like you and me.
We talked about how they may feel when they don't have hair...
Sad, because they want to be like everyone who has hair...and their head gets cold in the winter.
We then talked about grammy and how sick she is.
He prayed for her to get better.
It broke my heart. I just can't tell him that she won't... I want him to have hope...I have hope...I will until the end.
I then told him that because grammy is so sick, she needs to take special medicine. That special medicine will make her hair come off.
He cried.
I cried... am still crying.
He said he doesn't want his grammy to not have hair. He doesn't want his grammy to be sick anymore.
He asked if she stops taking the medicine, will she get her hair again.
Yes, but..
He asked if she can stop taking the medicine.
No, she can't. If she stops the sickness will go all over her body and she will die.
We cried some more.
I explained that grammy will be wearing a special 'hat' on her head sometimes (turbin) and will be getting a special hat with hair on it, called a wig, that will look a lot like her hair now.
He giggled.
We hugged.
And Hugged.
And I told him that what ever happens to grammy, his family will all always love him. And Grammy will love him forever and ever.
It was sad.
It was difficult.
But life can be difficult.
Thank You everyone for your PM's & posts with support and advice on my conversation with my Lil'l Diz Man.

Your all the best.
