My Lil'l Diz...with the look of... 'What is that?'
Was he watching the Scary Clown Things?! :scared:

I am an offender.

I admit it.
They say that's the first step...

After the guilt wore off, we headed to BTMRR.
Isn't it the BEST at night?!

 I'm so sorry.

I had to giggle at the end of your report when you realized where you were! I wouldn't feel too guilty though, if the space had been needed someone would have told you :flower3:

glad to see you're back! how funny that you snatched the handicap viewing area! i'm sure you didn't mean to. sounds like something i'd accidentally do, too!

so sorry to hear about your friend.

I've been reading your trip report for the last couple of days and it's wonderful! (No..I'm not a awfully slow reader...just at work....:rolleyes1 ) Your children are so cute and Tink is hilarious with her "Bell-Bell" points. Just wanted to say I've been lurking and lovin' your trip report! I'm sorry you've had a rough couple of weeks and here is a :grouphug: from me.

Yay! You're back!

First, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. You've had a tough year, my friend.

OMG! Those Spectro clowns are really freaky! I've seen other pictures, but yours are more close up.... YICKES!! They look like Chucky's offspring! :scared:

Cute pictures of Tink and Lil Diz Man! :cutie: OH, and I totally believe that you didn't know you were in the handicapped spots. ;) :lmao: Don't harm, no foul, baybee! :thumbsup2

Welcome! Just so you know, I am not fast...but I will get this puppy done! Sooner than later...:) pinky promise! Thank you so much for taking the time to post, it means a lot to me!

Okay...
Cathy, Kellie, Hollywood, Punkin, Tracy, V, Jo, Marion, Jen, Kat, IluvXU- No double dog quoting today from me, just stopping in, but... I BE BACK!

Hope you all are having a great holiday-ish weekend! I am baking banana bread & Morning glory muffins...trying to keep some meet on my families bones!

You are all right, I so did not try to snatch the special pad...but it was a great spot! I swear I am a smart girl...just a bit in la la land at times. Hmmm wonder if that is where Lil'l Diz gets it? ;)

We are getting a foreign exchange student from Spain tomorrow. She was to stay with my family for the summer, but since my 'mom's' illness, I have inherited her for a week, then I made a schedule of family, friends and friends of friends who are taking her until the end of Aug, when I get her back. Should be a great experience. I just wish it was not under these circumstances! My DH is excited to brush up on his Spanish, as he doesn't speak it, unless he is talking to his family.

I am working on catching up on my reading pleasure...I promise I will get to each and every one of your fun reports...I love it!:cloud9:

how fun that you're hosting a foreign exchange student! i'd like to look into doing that some day. maybe it'll take your mind off things for a few days. have a great holiday!!! :goodvibes

oh, and mmmmmmmm.....banana bread (said in my best homer simpson voice!)

Hi! Happy Canada Day! :teeth: No holiday'ish weekend for me however, I'm on day 2 of a 6 day shift. We're going to try and sneak in a bbq at my sis-in-law's tomorrow though. What are morning glory muffins? The exchange student sounds fun! My daughter did an exchange in England when she was 15... fabulous experience!

Happy 4th of July early! party:

Just a little update, before I begin.

I'm again sorry for my absence. We now have an Exchange Student from Spain, who is proving to be a lot of work. And a piece of cake. Crumb cake that is...

I spent yesterday at the Mayo. They confirmed that the cancer has spread into the right hip. So now we have the lungs, spine, liver & hip. Boy...this is getting to be a lot! They will be doing several scans at the next visit and it will be determined if continuing treatment is still an option.

We are all hanging in here. That is all we can do. Grammy is loosing her hair and I need to figure out just how the best way to explain this to my DS would be. Tink, will not really get it, so I am focusing on my Mr. Inquizative...lil'l Diz man!

Next chappie coming right up!

Not sure what I am doing wrong tonight. It seems that no matter what I do my pictures are all sized wrong. I keep changing the image size on my upload...but it is not working! If anyones can help...please do! Otherwise you will be stuck viewing these with a magnifying glass! sorry!

The start of the BEST MGM Day ever!

When I left off, we had just unintentionally hi-jacked a Handicap viewing spot to watch Spectro and found ourselves a good piece of MK pavement to view Wishes.

Wishes was as grand as the 1st time of the trip. Given my love for this presentation, it wasn’t the last time we viewed it on this trip. I could see wishes every night and I really don’t think I would tire of it. To me, it is simply the best ‘goodnight’ and way to end a fabulous Disney night there is.

Hands down.

The next morning was tough for me. Just as the previous day marked the middle of our trip, today marked the 1st day that the days left were less than the days we had been there. It was day six and after this day there would be only three more.

OT ALERT:

Yes I know, cry me a river…

We were lucky to be able to be there for 10 days. I just can’t do it in any less.

Well maybe if I got to go more often I could.

But since I can’t go multiple times a year, 10 days it must be.

I am working on my DH to spend more time there.

I have a special b-day coming. Well special in my mind. I am going to be 35 this coming year. Just thinking about it makes me cringe! When I turned 30 ‘things’ were still in their places, my face was crease free and there was no wirery gray things coming out of my head (where do those come from?).

Can you tell this is going to be tough?

Since my DH completely missed my 30th b-day, I think I deserve a special treat! 2 weeks in the world would do it.

Don’t you think?

Well you should, if you don't! :)

The only thing is that I will need to see how things turn out with my ‘mom’. Time is currently on hold, as it should be, for now.

Back OT (on topic):

Given our late night the night previous, we slept in a bit the next day. This day would be our MGM Day. Although our family really enjoys all of what WDW has to offer, to us this park is like the melted soupy mixture that is left in your bowl when you eat a great sundae. Not anywhere as good as that first few bits, but still good.

Even with our late start, we strolled into MGM only 15 minutes after park opening. We had the great location of the BWV’s to thank for that.

Thank you BWV’s! :cool1:

DH took off to grab FP’s for the RRC and took a quick ride on the TOT, while the kids and I went to stake out a spot in line for the Playhouse Disney show.

My DH made great time and was able to join us, just before the show started.:cool2:

As always, the show was fun! We love cutie pa-tootie Pooh and my TINK loved the addition of JoJo. Since we were about 3 families back from the stage, we didn’t have the best spot for the show.

TIP: My suggestion is to make sure that you aim for a spot in the middle section and in the middle of that section.

My question is, “When are they going to take Bear & Stanley out?” Neither are anywhere on Playhouse Disney any longer… BTW…we miss Stanley! My DS loved that show! And BTW..again, what is up with cartoons ending at 9AM this summer? NO FAIR!

Okay, Okay BACK ON TOPIC…yet again!

After the show we did as ‘they’ do… and jumped in line for The Mermaid Show.

Again, loved by all. (I’m thinking this may be where Tink began her love of the red head… all we hear about these days is Mrrmaid… I'm really hoping it isn't cause she is sporting a 'kini' top...since Tink loves her Bikini...)

When our dip into the deep blue sea was over, my DH & I decided to split up. He took the kiddos to see the HSM show, while I headed over to take in a bit of Rock and Roll. High-speed style. Which was great, as always. I must add that pre-baby, this and all other coasters were much better. I could ride them one after another.

Post-baby has equaled a one time on a coaster and I’m DONE!

I wish it were different.

But it is not.

I woosy-wobbled my way to find my family just as the HSM show was finishing. We swapped the double wide filled with love. DH headed for his ride on the Rock-n-Roll, while the kiddos & I headed to check out the main drag shops, where I purchased a plethora of WDW C.D.’s, so that my entire family could enjoy listening to WDW year round.

We ran into these guys on our way to meet DH.

Tink was doing her pretend- I’m a shy girl thing. The GREAT CM was doing her very best to get her to touch, but she just wasn’t having it!

IMG_0396.jpg

After DH’s ride in the fast lane, we headed to show my little Bell Bell yelling girl who the real Belle was…musical style!

IMG_0391.jpg

I was a bit worried that she would be afraid of the Beast hunt scene.

But she wasn’t

Tink loved the show.

She danced

She clapped.

She jumped up and down.

And when it was over…

She cried.

Yes, my girl CRIED…for more.

This a great way to describe MGM and how I feel about it too. I also know what you mean about your trip being half over- I hate that feeling too! Glad to have an update so so so sorry about your mom:grouphug: Hoping for good news.

Yay! You're back, even if just for a Disney moment! We've missed you!

Oh, Jen I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. I do hope things get better for her and for you. I wish I had some words of wisdom regarding Lil Diz Man and explaining what's going on. I do know that kids will surprise us 90% of the time, and whatever you say, it will be the right thing! You're an awesome mom!

Take care of yourself and thanks for the installment! The pics were too cute! :goodvibes

When I was younger my parents hosted several exchange students and we all had a great time my dad was a huge joker and the poor students didn't know what had hit them :rotfl2:

We were lucky to be able to be there for 10 days. I just can’t do it in any less.
Try 14 next time :thumbsup2
