We just closed on another 100 BCV contract! Our actual total is 2975 now. I may have forgotten to pass along some of my numbers.

...wait were we both looking for 100pt BCV contracts? Dec UY for yours?

I know we've had very similar total points numbers for a while, would be a funny coincidence if we were also shopping for the same contracts. We gave up waiting for a 100pt (the contract size we wanted) and grabbed a 125pt that had been sitting on the market for a long time, but I saw a 100pt come up a couple weeks ago.

That would be but we are actually February UY. We almost gave up on waiting for a 100pt when a lovely loaded one looked us in the face and said hello. Almost considered jumping ship to a different UY so we were probably looking at the same contracts at some point. But all of our points are in the same UY so I decided to wait and we did find a good one.

Just signed contract for 200 more Direct points at Polynesian. New total is 3376 points.

We added another 150 CCV last summer, bringing our total up to 1160.

Amazingly, that solved our need to borrow any points!!

Updated to 1175. Just had to take advantage of the additional incentive at CCV between 100-150 pts. And Feb UY.

I mean, we are doing this anyway...might as well do it right!

We went to the DVC presentation on the Fantasy this past February and, wow, did that presentation suck. I would've never bought. I couldn't even make sense of what he was saying towards the end. Have to admit I did kind of nod off during the last 10 minutes. At least our in-laws got the Hai-Hai out of it. Geez.

So you’re using OTU points towards the AP renewal using MMB? Brilliant ! I had not thought of that, but will consider it for next year. So $240 for 24 points = $10/point, and saves me 24 points from next year’s allotment. Then the remaining 106 points at <$10/point , based on current MFS gets me 2 renewals for an equivalent price of less than $1300. Great Strategy

IMO that’s a perfect amount of points

3143 for us now. Bought a 200 GF, sold a 150 GF to match up our use years. Bought 150 more DLH direct, bought 100 poly direct to be matching our use year and calculated the 150 poly we will be selling gone to make 3143. The transfer restrictions changed the game for us some and will only leave us with June and December Aulani as the only resort we have that is split and down to a total of 5 use years. 556 direct points total now.
