October 2010 Waitlists

Hubby and I are doing an adults weekend for Food and Wine Oct. 15-17 and were booked at SSR and on a waitlist for BWV.....after seeing this thread I went to the member site and now we are at BWV!!!!

SO EXCITED!!!! We really wanted Boardwalk since it is walking distance to EPCOT!! YIPPEE!!!!

Congratulations! My 1st trip as a member was a solo trip for DH & me at F&W. It was wonderful. Enjoy your trip!

Not a big WL but currently have a BWV studio with a Pref-Garden view for 19-24. Have a WL for BW view, same amt of pts. I doubt it will come through, I was lucky to get the first ressie. It will be my first time at BWV so I hope we'll enjoy either view. I just hope we aren't staring at the scary clown.

I've been wailisted for over two months for either BWV or VWL from October 2-5 and nothing has come through yet. We at least have a room at SSR reserved. I really want to stay on the Boardwalk!

We are locked into SSR for a 1 BR October 9-16. Waitlisted at BLT any view for 5 months and AKL conceirge for 2 months. I am losing hope. I check the website everyday. I don't think it is ever going to come in. This is a special trip because just 4 instead of 5 and the need of a 1 BR over a 2 BR. Soooo hoping to get some Pixie Dust to come our way...

currently have WDW trip planned for 10/6 - 10/10. Have 10/6 & 10/7 booked as cash at an all star resort and 10/08 & 10/9 booked at VWL with 1 of those nights in a studio and 1 night in a one bedroom. I have waitlisted for the 6th and 7th in a studio, I don't really care which resort and also wait listing the 9th in a studio at VWL so hopefully don't have to change rooms. Hopefully I get some pixie dust coming my way. Its DW and myself's anniversary and we would just love to stay at one resort and not change rooms. Wish us luck.

Been on the waitlist for a 2 bed at BCV for 9th and 10th October (got 11th to 15th) since January 14th a whopping NINE months in advance and still no joy. Just goes to show that even having home resort advantage is insufficient for F&W you need to get in there at 11 months on the dot!

Thought I might have got them at the 7 month shuffle but at the moment am stuck at OKW for those 2 nights before the move to BCV.

Heres hoping for success at the 30 day mark!

Have been on the waitlist for BCV studio 10/10 for several months. Have had no luck, not even able to book a cash reservation until 2 weeks ago when all the Disney deals came out. I called the 2nd day into the deals, and a cash reservation opened up. I'm still waitlisted, but at least I have a room cash for the one night in the middle of our weekend stay there.

We are currently at BCV 10/14-10/23 in a 1 BR. have been on wait list for a 2BR at BCV for a while now...no luck. And now we want to switch resorts and there is NOTHING available with points. Just cash reservations.

Needed to add one night 10/31 after we check out of SSR Treehouses. We wanted BC or BW studio, but are waitlisted, we booked a studio at SSR for 10/31 if we don't get Epcot Resort Area.

My waitlist for one night at a studio at BWV for 10/31 came thru this week. We are still waitlisted for BCV...either would be ok with us.

My waitlist for BLT studio LV room 10/6 through 10/9 just came though the other day. Had the 11 booked, and origianlly waitlisted 10/6 through 10/11. Decided to shorten the waitlist to 3 nights in hopes it would come through. Took about 4 months but did get it.
Couldnt get the 9th or 10th with any kind of decent discount as the resort is full. Was able to get the DVC discount so I guess thats better than nothing.
SOO there is hope!!!
Looks ike its going to be a VERY busy month at WDW.

I am still on the waitlist for BCV for Oct 4, 5 and 6. I have a studio at BWV but really wanted BC. Today I cancelled Oct 7 at BWV. We are leaving on Thurs for Key West so I hope someone got the sutdio I dropped for the one nite of Oct. 7. I will like BW since we never stayed there, but I do prefer BC. Wish me luck.

Waitlist cleared today! That frees up a 2 bed at OKW on 9th and 10th if anyone was waiting for that.

I am waiting and crossing my fingers for a Wilderness Lodge studio Oct 16-18 - right now we have a LV BLT studio. My parents are going with us on this trip and are staying the 16-18 at Wilderness Lodge, so we would like to be in the same resort as them. Then we are all moving to a 2 bedroom LV at BLT. Send some Pixie Dust my way...I need it. I keep checking and NOTHING!
