Do you remember when they announced this discount in the past?

They usually offer it around my birthday. About the middle of August. Usually the 15th, 16th, or 17th.

They are in the current discounts for summer, so I would think they would be but I'm not 100% sure.

I think it is usually around 10% to 15%. It saved us $220 for this trip. And it will give us the Diamond Parking pass, a AAA Disney discount card, and preferred seating for Illuminations and several other preferred seatings.

And hopefully we will get a "Package Discount for the General Public" like they usually give out each year during our time to go. And that should save us about another $450.

The Dining Plan saved us $280.

All said and done we could be looking at $950 saved for this trip!

Hi, I booked ROOM ONLY with a AAA discount October 6-10th. If I add dining and it becomes a "package" do I have to purchase tickets also?? I am an AP holder but I am traveling with someone that will need a park ticket. Thanks, Joan

Subbing. We have a room booked at CBR the 15th-21st and hoping for a code to see if I can get the room cheaper or if maybe we can find a room somewhere else cheaper. Maybe a deluxe for the price I'm paying now.

You would need to at least purchase a one day ticket. In a pkg. everyone in the room would need to purchase the same ticket. You would have to get 2 one day base then upgrade the other persons when you get there and your base could go toward your AP in the future. But.....
Your best bet would be to wait on the AP rates and do the AP dine pkg. and then you would not have to buy a ticket but could purchase a ticket for your friend either through Disney or discounter.

Does any one know if and when they would are will release the next discount, if memory serves me , thinking end of july - beginning of august....any rumors around with some ideas, looking for Dec 08 booked already but just wondering if might get lucky......

Thanks for this info!! I REALLY am HOPING for an AP discount!! But I am a little worried that my dates 10/6-10 will not be included because of Columbus Day being the 13th. Joan

Still waiting for a room only code for our Oct. 23rd trip. Need night of 24th & 25th, moving to OKW 26th. (I missed the code that came out earlier this year-won't let that happen again! ) Come on codes!

Can you get the general package discount in addition to the AAA discount? I thought it was only one discount per package

As far as I know it's only 1 discount per package. Right now, I have a AAA discount for our Oct. stay, but, if a package code comes out next month we'll only be able to use one of them.

I just went ahead and booked a room for 2 nights. I didn't want to get into a situation where there were no rooms left in my price range for the dates that I needed. I figured that if a code comes out that is applicable for a room only during the dates that we will be there, then I can always change the reservation.
