Stormalong pool reopening?

I figured out why I was able to get a 2 bedroom beach club on May 9-11...the pool will most likely be closed is there any way of knowing when it will open? We really only chose BC because of stormalong bay on day of check in... This is what it says on the reservation page (this is new, I didn't see it when I made the reservation) Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing visible exterior maintenance through late 2026, which will impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, require alternate paths of travel. As part of this work, from mid-January, 2026 through early May, the Tidal leisure pool will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area until the work is complete.

I think I may have misunderstood though and the tidal pool only is closed

Where did you hear this? When I google BC pool closures, it mentions an extensive closing Jan 2025 - June 2025.
My niece is staying May 2-10. I hope it's open for them.

Please note it says the ‘Tidal leisure pool.’ Stormslong pool is their main pool. Tidal is one of 3 leisure pools.
