Drat, I hope Renner can come to an agreement with Disney. If that's what happened, I don't blame him for turning them down, but I'd sure like to see another season of "Hawkeye." I don't pay much attention to Marvel stuff, but I really liked him in "Arrival" so I watched S1 of his series and enjoyed it a lot.

In my honest opinion why I think Jeremy Renner turned down the salary offer for Hawkeye Season 2 is because when Hawkeye had just finished filming Jeremy had been offered Mayor Of Kingstown for Paramount+ and because of Mayor Of Kingstown Jeremy Renner became Paramount+'s biggest star next to Anson Mount and there was no way Jeremy Renner could do Hawkeye and Mayor Of Kingstown all at once because when you're an actor you have to choose which show to do because you can't do double duty on two shows. But I bet that Disney and Marvel were already planning his future with Hawkeye Season 2 along with his salary but then when Jeremy's accident happened what was gonna happen with Hawkeye Season 2 became put in jeopardy because everyone was worried about what was gonna happen to Jeremy Renner once he recovered from his accident. But now when you look at Jeremy Renner today he has recovered from his accident marvelously released his album Love And Titanium is working on the new season of Mayor Of Kingstown has released his new book and is also doing commercials for Brooks Shoes and Pure Silk Almond Milk. And I think Jeremy Renner is much happier doing Mayor Of Kingstown and doing commercials because I think Jeremy wants to be like the late Ron Popeil by doing infomercials for health and wellness products in the future. But when he heard that he wasn't gonna do Hawkeye Season 2 I bet Jeremy Renner got so upset because he was hoping for more Hawkeye adventures and Disney wouldn't let him in the first place. But I hope Jeremy Renner works out a deal soon with Disney and Marvel very soon

My other theory to as why Jeremy Renner turned down Hawkeye Season 2 is because he wanted to focus more on Mayor Of Kingstown and because of him Jeremy made Mayor Of Kingstown a hit for Paramount+. But I think Jeremy Renner was afraid that once he recovered from his accident he thought that Marvel would recast Hawkeye and he would no longer be able to play Hawkeye anymore. I mean look at Anson Mount for comparison when he appeared on Star Trek Discovery Season 2 and once he appeared in Star Trek Discovery Season 2 he got Star Trek Strange New Worlds. And now Jeremy Renner hopes that he can do the same with a Mayor Of Kingstown spin-off or another Marvel spin-off starring Hawkeye

If he was so afraid of the character being recast, he wouldn't have turned down the salary cut.

Of course they can. I just looked up the show you mentioned and it only has 10 episodes per season. "Hawkeye" only had six. Even together, that's fewer episodes than a network TV show. An actor can easily handle multiple short-season shows.

What I also think why Jeremy Renner turned down Hawkeye Season 2 is because he thought that since he already had Mayor Of Kingstown on Paramount+ he thought Marvel/Disney wouldn't want him anymore and when you look at ever since Mayor Of Kingstown debuted on Paramount+ as I mentioned earlier in my previous post Jeremy Renner has become the top star of Paramount+ next to Anson Mount and he thinks that due to Mayor Of Kingstown Jeremy will become a superstar in TV. My mom and I saw part of Mayor Of Kingstown and we found it unappealing and I can't figure out why Mayor Of Kingstown is a huge hit. But I hope that Jeremy Renner straightens things out with Marvel/Disney so he can do another show or maybe he will do a family drama for Disney+ in the future. I LOVE this fella and I do wish he could've done Hawkeye Season 2

And now there was a rumor saying that Jeremy Renner might quit Marvel/Disney and move to Warner Bros/DC and from what this rumor revealed is because Jeremy Renner might play The Green Arrow in future DC movies and they think that Jeremy might save DC movies. But in my eyes I think Jeremy Renner should've taken the offer for Hawkeye Season 2 as a smart and wise move. Because Jeremy was the one who made Marvel a hit when he did Hawkeye and played Hawkeye in The Avengers movies and without Jeremy Renner Marvel movies would not be smash hits. But like I mentioned he also wants to be a commercial star because before being famous in the movie The Hurt Locker Jeremy Renner was a commercial actor appearing in commercials for Kodak and 7-11 and Aquafina Water
