Did Tim's Brother get to watch the game too, or did you make him go to bed?

It was a tough one to determine how to handle it as we weren't in the room they were in when it happened. The older one says Tim had his chin resting on the older one's knee begging him to help him with his computer game. He claims to have moved one way when the other moved another way, and the tooth accident followed. The younger one however claims the older one did it on purpose. So what does one do? We did make the older one go get his jammies on and no more computer for the evening.
The younger one now thinks he made out pretty well with the tooth fairy! My goodness, I wanted to give him $5 or $10 but all I had was a $20 and a couple of $50's!
He is saving all his money in his penny bank for Disney. He now knows we are volunteering at the end of this month and will be given tickets to WDW for ONE day. So he thinks we will drive all the way to WDW for just a ONE DAY visit. If thats exciting to him, I'll keep letting him believe that! LOL.

^^You know I have renewed appreciation and total love for the DCL terminal after being inside the ugly barren RCCL you-can't call-that-hole-a Terminal.

It isn't even in the same league, it's like comparing Wal-Mart and Saks. ;)

That there looks to me like the Mezzanine in a Hockey Arena! LOL

**FE Update**

For those following the FE Updates,

*room 6612 for gramacharming, there are only 3 in the cabin

*added another family in cabin 6614 Diane (threeiscrazy's Sister), her DH Phil, Emily (9), and Claire (6) they have Mail seating.

So we got our Disney Cruise Line Welcome Back packet today in the mail which gives details of our reservation and a planning booklet.

We finally booked air via Continental, flying in two days before and returning two days after. We found $218 rountrip out of Newark a pretty good price. Flying back that Saturday or Sunday was way too expensive so we pushed it out a day and saved a lot.

We may shift our DVC plans, we still want to stay at BCV before, but now that there will be an "after" we may book two days at BLT.

Between locking in our air and getting the booklet today we are really in the Cruise mood. That and the really nice picture of the DCL terminal. :thumbsup2

Now I can work on the most important details of my vacation. Work approved my vacation yesterday. While I was in the elevator yesterday, I saw the picture of the empty Disney Terminal and couldn't help but feel relaxed.

October just can't come fast enough!

Next up is the paid in full which I believe is like a week 1/2 a way.

./dreams of sandy beaches and no responsibilities

I agree. My booklet (first time cruiser) came last Thursday by FedEx. My mom called me at work because she thought I had ordered something. I had no clue (wasn't expecting anything from FedEx) so I had her open it. She was so excited! I looked it over when I got home and it really made me wistful for the cruise. I have super bursts of excitement and then lulls when I realize how much time (and how much work stuff) is between then and now.

Still - the picture of the cruise terminal is a pick me up.

"I owe, I owe - it's off to work I go - I owe, I owe, I owe, I owe, I owe, I owe, I owe...."

Hi everyone,

hello from the other side of the atlantic. We (my wife and I) are very happy to be on this cruise, too.

We are Disney-fans since many years - as you can see at the signature :)

See you in a couple of months...

The Disney Dream Funnel has arrived at Meyer Werft!! Woo Hoo!! :cool1:

Really looking forward to the Royal Suite in 08/11!

Great funnel picture!

I'm sick and lying in bed with my son's laptop (we traded desk top for laptop this evening), some ice water, my antibiotics lined up for the evening dose, and my Terry's Chocolate Orange that had gone AWOL just after Christmas. Mmmmmm, my chocolate orange, I've been waiting since Christmas to have a taste! I'm tired, but not yet tired enough to sleep, so what does one do when lying in bed sick and can't sleep? I might watch a movie, or visit my farms on facebook. Or, looking at photos and videos on youtube, of DCL cruises and castaway cay!

You too with the farm on Facebook? I can't keep up with it either....I have had to leave the land fallow because I just can't get to the harvesting in time!

I was super excited when our welcome packet came the other day. Thankfullly, no kids spotted it.

There are times I am SO glad my daughter has a fully charged laptop for times like these to swap. Hope you are feeling better soon! We have had a run of rotten illness, disease and overall bad luck the last few weeks. In-laws dog passing away on 2/6, BIL cancer diagnosis on 2/11, another BIL minor stroke on 2/14, teacher brain tumor and lots of other much less major, more insignificant issues over the last few weeks. We decided we needed to get away! Are leaving (taking BIL with stroke with us) and heading down to Universal Studios this Friday for a quick, much needed family get away. Funny how that FL sunshine can warm our souls! Hope all are well and as anxious as we are for Spring!:yay:

I hope you have a wonderful time!!!! Sounds like you all need to get away and enjoy some Florida sunshine!!!

For those of you that have gotten the welcome packets, is that because you are DVC? I want to get some mail too :sad1:

Not DVC either.

I did book through a TA though but this mail seemed to come directly from Disney (at least I'm pretty sure it is?)

Wow, what a difference 24 hours of antibiotics make! Doing MUCH better this morning already! Thanks for the well wishes.

As for the Welcome packet, we are not with DVC but did get this via our TA back in early December. She put it in a HUGE folder with a 2010 Calendar, a Certificate from them that reads "Guess who's Going on A Cruise?", It's on a photo of a DCL ship at sea and has a transparent Mickey head to the left of the page with my, DH's and DS'S names in it. Also came with from our TA an itemized packing list! The folder was decorated with Disney Stickers. Pretty awesome, but I had tucked it away immediately as I didn't want my kids to see it, and I had forgotten all about it till Pudo mentioned it!

I need to change my ticker - we won't be sailing with you guys this time :sad2: It's not all bad - my Dad asked us to go to Disney in October on a family trip instead of going on the cruise. We took my parents on their first ever vacation in Dec 2008 - and they fell in love with Disney! If you knew my Dad (Mr. Tightwad!) you would know how BIG this is! So... it's a family trip to WDW instead of cruise! :woohoo: We are excited to go in October - that's a time we haven't been before! We are planning to sail October of 2011 instead.

Sorry to be leaving you guys, but it's all good!

Have a wonderful Halloween Cruise! :goodvibes
