There's no way RI isn't going to be close. The only thing that really concerns me is the huge stack of disaffiliation forms I saw at the polls, and others saw in their precincts as well. Hopefully it's people voting for Obama, but I know quite a few people called into the local am station saying they disaffiliated in order to vote for Clinton because they wanted to make it easier for McCain to win.

Ok they are projecting a Clinton win here in RI 53-46 but less than 20% of the precincts have reported

Well, she has won Rhode Island, and she is up by 20% in Ohio with 10 percent reporting (some precincts have just closed at 9pm). I suspect Ohio to be called momentarily... Texas on the other hand is looking okay for Obama

I had meant to mention that there were several people interviewed throughout the day that crossed over from the Republican side just to vote for Hillary so that McCain could beat her. I can't believe somebody would say that on TV with all of America watching...

CNN has projected her the winner in RI with 9% reporting and it's 53% to 46%. About 800 votes apart. Seems early to me, but we'll see.

Howard Fineman (MSNBC) just said that he spoke with a Clinton insider who said that OH is not enough and that quite a few inside Clinton camp are considering bailing on her campaign if she only wins RI and OH, evn if Hill wants to push forward with her campaign.
