Obama supporters! - A positive place to talk about his campaign

What's wrong with asking for links when you are accusing us of something I know darn well we haven't done? :confused3

As for everyone pulling together after the nomination is final...you currently have two very prominent posters on the Hillary thread claiming they will either vote for McCain or not vote if Obama wins the nomination, so I would suggest once again that you not preach to us what you apparently aren't willing to preach to your own.
I'm sorry but that works both ways. There's plenty right here on this very thread that promised to not vote for Hillary if she somehow pulled off the nomination. I hate to see that but I respect it because it's ultimately their decision.

You're right though that we have no right to complain about attacks when a few of the Hillary thread posters say things that upset people. I won't argue that point so attack away. <Insert battle gear smiley> ;)

Just didn't want negativity to be the last post on this thread.

Some great news:
Massachusetts super delegate back Obama

"Paul G. Kirk, a Democratic superdelegate from Massachusetts, officially declared his support for Barack Obama today.

Kirk is the second former Democratic National Committee chairman in two days to back Obama, following Joe Andrew of Indiana. And his endorsement narrows Hillary Clinton's lead among superdelegates to fewer than 20. While Obama had the support of Senators John F. Kerry and Edward M. Kennedy and Governor Deval Patrick, Clinton won the Massachusetts primary in February.

"Senator Obama is the one candidate who has and will continue to expand the electorate beyond the traditional Democratic party base and bring young and new and Independent voters to the Democratic banner in November, an essential ingredient to a Democratic victory," Kirk said in a statement issued by the Obama campaign.

"America never turns back," he continued. "America always marches forward to seize the future. Eight of 10 Americans believe their country is on the wrong track. Senator Obama is the one candidate who, in the best tradition of American history, will not take us back but will lead us to a new future."

Just noticed you've mentioned this, Chris, sorry for the duplicate Good day for Obama, though!!!

I hope you are right. I would llike to see the Supers come out in a group and back Obama and get this over with.

Me too Marybet....it would be a great day if next Tuesday things start to get settled.

After reading all of the HS/OS stuff I wonder....when we do finally get a set candidate what will the new thread be like...will we all get along or has this whole process divided so much that we'll still have a OS and HS thread come November???

Nope, she could lose both, I don't expect her to quit... no way....

LuvDuke, we're only 284 delegates shy of the magic number, so lets hope we see a quicker shift of Supers from here on out, combined with the delegates from both Ind. & NC even without a win, we'll be this !! close

This thread is about to be shut by the way (250 pages)

Hope you're feeling better Chris...we need ya!!!:lovestruc

This must be the day for youtube videos...I just saw another one sent to me by a friend that shows Clintion backers in 1992 saying some very deragatory remarks about Indiana voters...I do not want to post because it has unsavory speech in it...but those interested should go to you tube...I was suprised by the video.
