Government shutdown - flights?

Our 8 am direct flight tomorrow was cancelled late this morning. We were automatically rebooked to a much earlier flight with a tight connection. I was able to get us on a better time but had to pay for seat assignments. I could not get mobile boarding passes, so we will see what happens tomorrow.

This is a big headache.

You’re welcome, I fly out of a small regional airport on the west coast & connect through some hubs often impacted by weather, so I’ve had to learn the art of forced pivoting .
The Alaskan red eye to Orlando from Seattle is AS 394 - it leaves at 11:10 pm & flies 5 nights a week (doesn’t fly Tues. & Wed..)
