News Flash! I bought some non-mom jeans!!!

My DH wears Levi 505 regular fit - nothing like a guy in Levi (IMO, Levi does nice for a guy's butt). For his dress up jeans, Calvin Klein, regular fit. Very nice

Frankly, I'm amazed at all of these "rules". I can see the bit about the Mom Jeans but as for the rest...?

Define the rules just for fun. What about sweaters, sweatshirts and jackets? Are tennis shoes bad?

I can't think of a time a sweatshirt would be ok to wear out somewhere...maybe to the grocery store in an emergency? Or if you are a college student.
Sweaters-if they are cute, yes, if they are 'holiday' sweaters no.
Tennis shoes-if they could be used as work out shoes, then they shouldn't be worn as regular everyday shoes.

Just my opinion. :duck:

I agree! I need them written down so that I can print them and bring them with me when I bring them shopping! :rotfl2:

Seriously, I've been on cruise control for awhile now, especially in winter when I'm around the house. Then I go somewhere and I wear those sweats. If it's only to the grocery store, it's not a big deal, but then I go do other errands, volunteer at school, etc and I don't wear the sweats, but I don't know quite what to wear.

But I'm really not worrying about it all--we're just having fun. And I'm not wearing a thong, even though I have said that I'm going to buy one to try it out. I can't imagine putting something in my crack on purpose! :crazy2:

:rotfl2: I'm messing up big time in your book!!! :rotfl: OH, well, maybe my wardrobe transformation will be complete if we ever meet. Or we'll be in WDW and trust me, I won't care down there! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hmmm, I'll have to bring my DH shopping....I shouldn't have mentioned anything about dad jeans since now he'll know what I'm doing. Of course if he thinks he'll get "something" he won't care. :teeth:

You can get those...I don't need any...but they are available.

I was talking about the husbands, I sure as heck don't need no help in that area. My a$$ is big enough, thank you very much. :rotfl:

I assume the "something" is not jeans, right? They're all the same:rotfl:

You got that right! They all like the dancing banana...

I just wanted to say I love this thread :rotfl: ... I lurked for a little bit on the other Mom jean thread...

I am a non mom jean wearer. My deal is that I got married/ had my kids before all of my other friends so when ever we would do girls night out I had to "fit in" I know I know crazy but true.

When I did start dressing like a "mom" my DH said "ummm honey what happened to all of your nice clothes that you used to wear" After 3 kids in 2 pregnancies my little cropped sweaters just weren't the cutest that they once were:confused3
So I went shopping and de frumped my wardrobe. I still love my grocery getter outfits but I TRY to limit them to once a month wearing...

Fashion questions...

Sweaters...Non-baggy and cute, they are okay. Holiday sweaters are evil.

Sweatshirts...have to have some sort of design, the addition of a hood is cute, too. These can only be worn when freezing butt off at WDW or during exercise.

Sneakers...I have specific work out ones, then I have cute casual ones to wear out.

:rotfl: That's what I meant. It seems like our hubbys could all use some of our leftover butt...is there a way we can donate?

Free butt to a good home.

See my DH would NEVER notice the frumpy clothes! And I mean never. It's one thing to notice and not speak up, but he would really not notice.

I'm glad that you delurked!

How exciting that you're planning your first trip!

I resemble this as well. :rotfl2:

Ok so I was telling my DH about the hubby with saggy butt issue and he shed some light on situation.

They have to get waist's big enough for the tummy, leaving all the room in the bum!

I think DH needs new jeans too! :thumbsup2
