My neighbor says he is going to sue us..UPDATE pg 8

Wow, stuff likes this is just another example of why todays generation is inside playing video games gaining weight. Wonder when we as a society got so territorial that kids cant even go grab their ball from the lawn?
Heck, at our organized soccer events with lots and lots of acres you should see the wayward balls fly. LOL

We don't have kids and we DO like our privacy, so WE PAID for a 6 foot privacy fence to be put up. Pretty simple. I can't believe he would even THINK to have you pay for a fence!

i've been on both sides of the fence (sorry i could'nt resist ). at our last house we lived on the corner of a cul de sac. every kid for blocks around would migrate to the area adjacent to our side/back yard and play ball. i got so tired of answering the door dozens of times each day (esp. with a newborn in the house) to retrieve balls! i finaly set a limit and let the kids know, if it was exceeded they had to come back the next day (we would gather them at night and put them in a box at the end of the driveway). then the kids took to opening my gate to get them, climbing over the fence...i was scared to death that someone would get injured on my property (and although i knew we had taken steps to prevent it i would have still felt badly). we ended up having to go so far as to call the property owners of the rental homes (the majority of the problem kids lived in one) and insisting that they use their power to come down on the parents (who did'nt see it as a problem).

when we moved (again on the corner of a cul de sac) we knew we were going into a neighborhood with allot of young kids. we have fences around our yard but the noise can get deafening at times (our kids are no exception to contributing to this). so when we landscaped we put in bushes to provide somewhat of a sound barrier for both incoming and outgoing noise. it has helped considerably.

I did not make him happy at all.I'm not sure who it was.We will still put up a fence as soon as possible.I just have to watch my BIL.He wants to paint it pink with purple polka dots on his side.

LOL..my neighbors were having trouble with the people next to them-during one arguement they called them a slang name for Spanish so when they put up the fence the painted on the side facing the other people in Spanish a whole bunch of spanish words...the other people finally moved and then my neighbors painted over the words for the new people!
