My DH went to Sonics

DH is away for 2 weeks. He's in Oklahoma City. He phoned & said he went to Sonics. Asked if I ever heard of it. (We are from MA.)

Well, DH just called so I asked a few of your questions.

He's been in OKC just 6 days & he's been to Sonics 3 TIMES! I guess he likes it. LOL It's across the street, so maybe that's the attraction.

He's had the chili cheese dog. And went for breakfast twice & had the pancake & sausage on a stick -- which he liked very much.

I guess from everyone's talk here I never picked up on the fact that it's a drive-in (not to be confused with drive-thru). He explained the workings of it. Sounds neat!!!

He hasn't tried any of those yummy beverage choices yet -- just coke.

Asked him to join DIS tonight --- and give us a full review. He didn't know if he would have time. Oh well.

I highly recommend the cherry sprites.

They don't serve buffalo wings. Chili cheese dog is pretty good (I get mine without the cheese, but add onions and mustard-YUMMY!). My son likes the pancake on a stick.

Yeah, it's a drive in. Some have a pick up window. 1 in my area actually have a car hop every now and then that wears roller blades.

The drinks are fountain drinks, they use that tiny crushed ice too. Not all, but some put real cherries in the drinks (best part ).

Glad he liked it.

LOL! This week when I went the car hop actually had on roller *skates*. I've seen some in rollerblades, but every now & then one has on actual skates.

Kejoda, too bad I can't ship one your way. I counted 4 Sonic locations within a 5-10 minute drive. Plus they have more in the surrounding 'burbs. Think FedEx could package one up for you??

Beccy, I have 10 within a 20 mile range of me. I feel like a Sonic hog (not to be confused with Sonic the Hedgehog ).
