OK, so I thought, maybe some potatoes for dinner with butter and sour cream and maybe some cheese. No potatoes!

Alright then, maybe some eggs on toast, DD is an egg fiend, 2 every day, surely we have those! ONE egg!

Mind you, there is no space in the fridge or freezer. You want fresh (or frozen) berries or cucumbers or lettuce, have those galore! Yogurt? You can live the rest of your life from what we have! Fat free anything, from milk to hot dogs, we got it.
Anything containing calories, forget it!
And let's not forget Fat FREE milk!

Found a box of Fettucini Alfredo hiding in the back of the cabinet, so I guess I'll have that. Not helping the cause, I think I have to upgrade to size 12... sobbbb! Or heaven forbid, go on a diet.

I could always start smoking again, I really, really miss it!

I know this wasn't for me, per se, but you still toadilly crack me up. I predict the RAnDom caP name fad will coincide with the upcoming generation: Stemming from parents of the current "Generation-Entitled", will not have any idea how to spell, tell time, work, tie a shoe, or know the value of a new toy. Raised by droids who cannot hear their pithy whines, Generation RAndom caP will become even more obese than their parents (P.E and all after school sports programs are long gone) as they wheel around in their wall-e type pods of helplessness as they learn about the edible vegetation of decades past.
LOL, I didnt sleep much last night.

Thank you, ma'am! I do what I can. ;)

I concur about GENrAncaP. We'll all b SOL when they r only able 2 write like they r txtin. 2bad. They are being raised to believe that everyone gets a trophy, and report cards can hurt people. Lord help us!

I like that I am forever linked with goats. Thanks ya bunch of losers. (mostly Lynette, whom shall henceforth be known as D'Linqua)

Welp, you did that to yourself! And I'm still not sure how I got linked to feral cats for all eternity. For the love of all things holy, I don't even own one!

Also, Miss Undastood, D'Linqua is Natasha's new name, not mine. Were you skimming, or just taking artistic license with my posts? Harumph.

D'Linqua: I felt a little teeny tiny bit bad that I pick on you so much. It is the purest form of love you know. BUT, I thought what better way to make it up to you than to make you SIGNATURE WORTHY!!!

Really, you don't have to thank me. I KNOW how much it means to you. What's that? Yes, yes of course I love you too. Oh go on, I'm not THAT spectacular. :upsidedow

Oh. How very.....generous of you? Uhhmmm....thanks?

Guess what, y'all? I made it through my first week at Le New Job! We had a journalism student from Boston University come in to tape an interview with New Bossman today for Patch.com. Pretty cool, plus I got to learn a bit more about him while watching the interview taping.

Additional bonus: Big Daddy told me today that he's buying me a snazzy new laptop to go along with my new job. My current laptop is only 2 years old, but it runs Windows Vista (ack!), and doesn't have Excel or Photoshop, since I didn't need either of those programs before now. So in the next few days I'll be ordering a new laptop with Office 2010, and New Bossman is going to buy me Photoshop so I'll have it to use at home. w00t!

Good morning! :sunny:

So I'm only about 175 pages behind here so I'm not even going to pretend to skim. I'm here to say a BIG OLE THANK YOU to everyone for the nice birthday wishes!!! It was a very good birthday indeed.

We are progressing quickly with the house and construction is set to be finished by the end of the month. Hopefully. Since that's when I'm supposed to be out of my house. We have been painting every weekend and every single night after work for almost 3 weeks. They put the final coat on the hardwood floors on Thursday and the kitchen is being delivered this Wednesday. We are buying tile and plumbing fixture today. Phewwww. I'm exhausted.

OH! And we'll be getting married the last weekend of the month. I'm off all the next week to move. No honeymoon at the moment. Maybe later this year. (He's never been to Disney World! I KNOW!)

I'll post some pictures of the house either here or on FB when we get stuff moved in. It's still a frat house at the moment.....two guys (him and his son) living there for 10 years. You can imagine. I need to girl it up a bit before I take any photos.

Take care, everybody! Tell WT hi for me. Is he on FB? Or would he be risking the world knowing his true identity there?

:wave2:

morning.

FIRST OFF......Marita......weight gain vs no smoking......COME ON.......you are healthy for not smoking.....I forget what they say.......but for every two months of not smoking your lungs are becoming more and more pink.....they are going to be beautiful lungs......AND us guys here are wicked proud of you....so dont worry......NOW food ...you need to go to the store and buy some good stuff......not that the stuff isnt good.....a pkg of frozen shrimp or some roasted chicken from the deli, put those in salads and that is a good meal...a plate should look like this.....ONE HALF should be salads, or veggies ....so the other half of your plate should be one half of that side should be your protein.....I usually eat as much as I can get my hands on....I am a carnivore....remember that........and the other one fourth should be your carbs...like potato or pasta....so eat healthy and dont worry about a few pounds.......YOU ARE HEALTHY...

It is sort of snow raining here ......as long as its NOT SNOW SNOW....we are all set... A WEEK from tonight when we go to bed we do the time change.....SO something must be doing good.....means spring is almost here..I think that is the following weekend...YES YES YES.....

Happiness to the new home owners and almost wedded person.....ROFL.:bride:

Marita-- don't you dare start smoking again. You have come so far. I won't go into the weight thing because I am not a healthy weight either. Like Pumba said we are proud of you for doing this as is your family I'm sure.

Pumba-- it pouring out here too but mild....melting the snow away.

Lynette-- sounds like your liking your new job and boss. Yay for the new computer too!

Melinda-- Nice to hear how happy you are. I don't make it to fb much so all you said expect for the getting married part is new to me. :lmao: Can't wait to see pictures.

Mony--How was your birthday?

It is so nice to see some faces back.....I actually have to read back
again.

Off to do some of this :laundy: and some off this :surfweb:

morning ...ITS POURING HERE TOO....ISNT IT WONDERFUL....

We are going to see a house after lunch time.......I am wicked excited....it is classified as a short sale so that sort of scares me.....they went down another five thousand on it......It is out in the boonies.....well sort of boonies.....out on the outskirts of the next city over....but still close enough to do everything we need ...ONLY three miles to go to Walmart ........HAHAHA.....so I would be happy with that...

The snow was falling off the roof all night and Megara was telling us all about it if we missed it...:headache: she is a good doggie...wonder what she would do if there was no people to bark at if they walked past our house.....oh well...

My sister left Maine yesterday morning......they spent the night in VA, and today she called and is already almost into SO. Carolina.....they are hoping to make it to Orlando area by this evening.....prices of gas are cheaper down there then here......go figure.......She was a little rattled when they had to wait almost an hour to go over the George Washington Bridge.....but other then that and the GPS not knowing where they were in Maryland ...they have made out okey...

See you later gators

Well we had rain all day yesterday , even when we went to bed. Then we got up to snow....enough to have to go shovel. :headache: What a cruel trick the weather played on us.

Went to church this morning them out for brunch and shopping. Nicholas need a dark tie for his grad picture. They are having retakes on Wed. So hopefully his will be ok the first time. We were away when they were taken the first time. I told him good thing he has bangs because it is also Ash Wednesday. Who pick this day for retakes wasn't very smart.

It is also spirit weeks , kids get to wear p.j's tomorrow , wacky hair day , then retro day ( picture day) hat day and last bright shirt day for spring. Kids bring in 25 cents a day or $1.00 for the whole week. It goes to Hope for Cancer.

Pumba-- Have you seen your house yet....very important to live by a Walmart.....

Dang, Dis just wiped out my post, so here it goes again:

Nab, sound a fun week for the kids.
Rain is apparently delaying fligh home for Nicole. Rain, seriously??? Won't get home till after 10, but hubby is picking her up.

Seems she learned "the right way" to cook chicken wings and thighs this weekend. Not that we cooked it the wrong way, we just never make it. I am NOT a wing lover!

I have had some pestiering black tiny bugs lately, couldnt for the life of me find the source. Well, I finally did! Box of milkbones for the dog that died in October, YUCK!

Pumba, hope the house is nice, good luck!

Gotta go take a shower. Hubby is going shopping, per her Majesty's command, so I asked him to pick up some fried chicken and potato salad for dinner. But not a whole bucket, since we never eat it all. I hate it when he buys a big box/bag of stuff that goes bad before we eat it.

Tuesday is Mardi Gras at work, I signed up for a Bussing/Custodial shift from 11-12,should be easy work at that time!

Ok, off to shower and a nap, maybe....

So, Nicole was supposed to arrive from her NY trip at 9pm tonight. Bad weather, after 10, she was sitting on the runway, #19 on the list for takeoff. Probably gets here at 2 am. UGGGGG. Hubby is off tomorrow, so he will pick her up

the house was TO SMALL......I cant believe how deceiving photos are...Even our realtor was shocked.......I could fit their two full bathrooms in my ONE bathroom......the layout was cute and the living room was nice....the kitchen small but very nice and the dining room was sort of nice..after that the bedrooms were unbelievable......small.....oh well spring is coming and alot of people wait until the snow is done to sell.....I am ready ...
OH yah she took us to a flip house.....these two men buy houses and then flip them...it was very old and I loved it.....but alot of issues even after they finish it......old wood frames on the windows and doors......unreal...I couldnt cook in the kitchen if anyone was near me but it was still had alot of that dreaded "P" word........POTENTIAL......hahaha.

we do have a good realtor and she will send us house emails when they arrive....

hope that your daughter got home okey.....they said the storms were bad up and down the coast.....My sister arrived in florida last night.....they drove down.......stopped in VA for a sleep and then got up and kept on trucking......they are visiting her husbands family....she said it wasnt to bad from Maine to the George Washington Bridge ...and Maryland was bad too.....the GPS didnt like ML at all..took then an hour and twenty minutes to get ON the GW bridge.....yikes.

Have a good day if you all can.........raining still hard here and ice will be forming soon then said......hate that part......rivers are flowing fast and furious...

Pumba, sorry the house was a disappointment. I'm sure youll find something, just like Goldilocks, LOL.

Ordinary boring day for me today, nothing to report. But Im tired anyway.

Mardi Gras tomorrow, looking forward to a Po' Boy, the taste testing was very good, and there will be a pargo parade for the guest.

No call from Celery, which might be cause my cell phone battery died

morning everyone...

Today the sun is so bright that it makes it hard to see the monitor on this computer.....BUT the downside of this is the temps.....and all that melted and rained upon us is now ICE....

I go to the eye doctor again for a recheck...I had flashes on one side of my eye and he just wants to make sure.....first he says its okey and then in the same breathe tells the lady with us to make an appointment for six weeks to check it again.....shook me up but he is cautious..

Hope you all have a great day and I will see you guys later..

Happy Pancake Day !!

It is also Wacky Hair day at school. So the kids are all excited.

Hannah is having Pancakes with her Guide troop tonight and the church is having a free pancake and sausage dinner tonight so I don't even have to make them.

Pumba-- That was us the other day with the rain then woke up to ice and snow. Yes pictures are very deceiving for houses. I remember when we were looking before this one and you would think a bedroom was huge but it was only the angle it was taken on that made it that way. You will find something I'm sure of it.

Marita-- Glad you dd made it home safe and sound the other night. Hope you get to meet up with Celery.

Off to do some wacky hair. I just know Hannah wants her hair coloured with spray paint kind of stuff we had for Halloween.

2. Oh Cel, I didn't book Homewood. After your glowing review, I pondered it for days...agonizing. The Embassy Suites ONLY won out due to the "free" made to order breakfasts and the "free" nightly booze (LOL!!!). I totally didnt want to let you down!!! popcorn:: I will, of course, jump on the beds of Embassy Suites just for you.

3.
HEYYY, I found all my pins! I have a TON of Goofy. All Goofys will be traded or e-bayed. Goofy is sort of ruined a little, but I'll be nice. We will be eating at his Kitchen after all. I promise not to punch him.
1. It's so sad that this is so true.
2. Dude! I totally don't care! They're both good hotels, promise. I'm checking out of homewood this morning to check in at bonnet creek!
3. Hopefully you'll be able to love Goofy again as time goes on. Stupid poop head for ruining so many things!

when I was on the trip reports....I have read some of their NOT so stellar reviews....and I was thinking.....are they going to the same Disney I am ...Cause we have always been pleased with all of disney....workers, rooms, parks and food.....we are not fussy people....

Normally, the cleanliness is one of my favorite parts of Disney, but yesterday at MK, things were not so fresh and clean. One of my friends talked to a custodian and they are severely understaffed. I noticed way more trash than normal and several of the bathrooms were not exactly pristine. The place was a mad house! We stayed until Midnight - by about 11, it had cleared out.

Mini trip report:
For all of you who did not see my post on PJ's facebook page yesterday, here's a repost:

Amber to PJ:
So I was sitting in the main street bakery enjoying my danish and I almost stepped on a girl's hoodie. I stopped to apologize and saw her face.
OMG! It was your sister. You know how slick I am, so I asked her if she was from Ohio. She said yes so I asked if Lauren was her sister. I explained who I was. How crazy is that?

I don't get things like FB and Twitter. Either. It is really funny listening to the "stars" complain about people like the paparazzi not respecting their privacy.

Lindsey Lohan's Twitter

LL: Hi guys. It is 3 pm right now. Tonight's events.

1. Get out of my vehicle for dinner at 7:32 pm in front of the American Bistro located at 10th and Market street. I will not be wearing any under clothes so it will be a great photo op.

2. Finish dinner at 8:14. Head on over to the SpotLight Lounge. Arrive at 8:32. Exit vehicle. Another photo op.

3. Drink WAAAAAAY to much. Stumble out of the bar at 1:23. GREAT photo op. Fall to the ground at 1:25. Make way to vehicle at 1:31. Call all the paparazzi gathered at my vehicles losers and tell them to mind their own business.

See ya tonight.

Love ya lots,

Linds

That's a threefer. Now, four in a row. Unheard of. Now I know what Lint must feel like. I need to take a shower.

Hi there, WT!!! I was already married but moved out with the kids two years ago. Now moving on to Husband 2.0 (the new improved version).

I do find validity in FB and have reconnected with lots of old friends there (and friends from here too). The jury is still out on Twitter. Although I have joined there too, I don't "tweet". I just lurk and only occasionally.

HAPPY FAT TUESDAY, EVERYONE! :wave2:

morning my friends..

Since lsat night at 9 pm.....until three thirty this morning.......the city decided to do all the side streets and our street and get RID OF SNOW......in other words they had money in the budget so lets get rid of the snow before (GASP) it melts anyways.....SO We finally get some sleep in between MEGARA YELLING at them to get lost....and the credit union parking lot that is near our house SIX AM MIND YA.......they remove the snow in their lots.......NOISY is not the word......every time the big bucket loader backs up.BEEP BEEP BEEP and then it drops the snow into the awaiting truck.......and then forward and then beep beep beep some more......so I said what the heck....may as well get up ..alarm is set for seven but oh why not get up at six ....I mean its not like I havent had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.....
