Is it worth the extra ticket price if I'm going solo with no kids?
(Do adults trick-or-treat?)

Is it spread out in the entire park?

What exactly do you do there? *confused*
:scratchin

EDIT: If I have no park hopper and I spend my morning in a different park, not the MK, is that ok?

Meet characters, watch the shows, watch the parade/fireworks, ride Haunted Mansion. I have never really trick-or-treated at any of the MNSSHPs I've been to.
As long as you have a party ticket, you can do anything you want in the morning. Hoppers aren't necessary for the party day - the ticket for the party is completely separate from your MYW ticket.

Are the shows special, just for the party? And the parade and fireworks also? Are they in addition to the regular electric parade and Wishes?

Thank you for your help :)

Shows (Villains show and the Cadaver Dans) are party exclusives and amazing, BTW.

Boo to You parade and Hallowishes are the party parade and fireworks, you can't see them anywhere else. The regular parade and fireworks aren't shown on party nights, but the castle projection show (Celebrate the Magic) is.

Definitely watch the shows, parade and fireworks - they're amazing and are party-exclusive!

And I find the party a great way to get in multiple rides. Our first party, we asked one of the CMs if we needed FPs for the rides. He laughed and said that you can often simply stay on a ride if you want to ride more than once - we did that on Splash and Thunder Mountain! Didn't have to get off; we stayed on and rode multiple times.

I figured out that, as an adult, it wasn't worth the time to go through the treat stations. They do sometimes have lines, and I figured "I can buy this stuff at my local grocery store on sale, so why spend the time at the party and cart around bags of candy?" Also, you have to find a place in your luggage to bring it home. I would definitely trick or treat if I had kids, but it wasn't a high priority as an adult.

I definitely recommend that you go!

I do a lot of rides and watch the shows and parades. I'm not really a character person. I do grab a little bit of candy later in the night, but I don't wait int he lines or try to hit every location, jsut a little to munch on while I watch the parade (usually the second one). It's a good time!

I just booked my ticket!! :D
Do you pay for the candy at the party? (Sorry for such a noobie question  )
And the no-line rides sound cool!

The second parade? Is that a repeat of the first one or a different parade?

I'm so excited!!!!!! :teeth:

The candy at the trick or treat stations is included in the party ticket.

They run the Boo to You parade twice at each party, before and after the fireworks. The second parade is SO MUCH LESS CROWDED than the first.

I really really wouldn't count on no lines. That's what I always hope for and it never happens for me, and we always go to the September parties.

Well, I'm going on the night before Halloween so I'm sure it'll be packed ;)
But I won't be going for the rides- those are just a bonus!

You will love the Halloween Party especially the fireworks and the parade which are both special for Halloween. Adam and I went to the Halloween party many times and actually went last year the night before Halloween. It was a sold out party and packed especially around the Main Street area. The lines for trick or treating were all super long except for the "trick or treat trail" back in Fantasy Land down past the train station its a path with 5 treat stops that takes you through to Tomorrow Land. You will pick up an empty trick or treat bag when you enter the park. (Take 2)
You can enter the park as early as 4:00 even though the letter that comes with your ticket says 7:00. The party activities ie shows and trick or treating won't begin until 7:00 but you can do rides as soon as you get there.

I know someone answered you, but they do run the parade twice, and the second one is usually less crowded. It is the same parade though.

The Trick-or-Treat stations are setup in areas (look for the large, lighted pumpkin signs) and you go down a little trail and get candy at each stop. You can do this as much as you want. Some people bring their own candy bag because the one tehy give you isn't that big (though they will give you a second one if you ask). The best time is toward the end of the night as the lines are shorter and they are trying to finish out their current supply so they will give you handfuls of candy. It's the good stuff too. None of that generic orange and black peanut butter cement stuff. We're talking name brand! It's pretty cool.

Also, think about doing either the fireworks dessert party or the castle villain party, since you are solo and don't have candy loving kids to worry about. The fireworks party might be a good idea since you get fireworks viewing, parade viewing and a buffet of treats verses the little treats at the castle party. And dress up!! Its fun!

The castle villain party was a one-year only thing two years ago. It didn't come back last year.
