First let me start out by saying we only have 4 MONTHS to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited and I just want the day to be here already. I don’t have much to update. DF got me a pair of glitter TOMS for the wedding. Here is a pic.

I also bought a hoodie from Amanda. I LOVE it! Here is a pic of the carriage on the back. She also put my future last name on the front. I think I will wear this hoodie throughout the trip because it’s so pretty.

I had posted a question yesterday asking everyone to help me decide what to do about the carriage situation. DF and I were talking last night and this is what we came up with. We are going to wait and see pics of what the scenery looks like. If it is something we don’t like then we will drop it. If we drop it we are definitely adding Mickey and Minnie and will use the extra cash for the honeymoon. If it is dropped I will miss it but I feel so grateful because we are already having so much more than we ever imagined. We are still having a dessert party, MK shoot, and we just added a caricature artist and Mickey hats. We are going to use the Mickey hats as the name cards for the reception.

Now I will move on to the family drama. Apparently my aunt is upset and doesn’t understand why we chose the week we did to get married. She has already paid for her trip but last week when the free dining was announced she called and asked me if she would be able to get it. I told her no because it isn’t offered the week of the wedding, and I also mentioned that she is already using the wedding discount and that she can only use one discount. Well she still called Disney and tried to get it. She then calls me back and said they said she could get it if she cancels the other package; I told her that she is going on the 6th not the 3rd and that it wouldn’t work. She then said well I guess you are just going to have to change your wedding date. (In case you are wondering she isn’t joking) I told her I wasn’t changing my date so her family could have a free cheeseburger. (She didn’t find this funny.)

DF family is a little different. They are very last minute with everything. They are a group of 7. As of right now they have only paid for their airplane tickets and that’s because they got an amazing deal with United. They got 7 roundtrip tickets for $968. They still haven’t booked their rooms. I remind them and so does DF. The thing is they have the $$ for it but they just don’t understand the concept of deadlines. The rooms have to be booked by Nov 9, and I told them it’s due Oct 9 because I know they will be late booking. I know it’s wrong to lie but it’s necessary in order for them to meet the deadline.

I feel less stressed because we have paid off some of our balances. As of right now we paid off the photography, videography, beaute speciale, and Kevin Knox. The only extra we need to take care of is the marriage license and our Disney balance.

I am really happy with the wedding we are having but a part of me wishes we would have just had the Escape wedding at Sunset Pointe like we originally planned.

I know how you feel about the whole family situation. Way freaking aggravating if you ask me!! See today's post on my PJ!!

But for 4 months AND glitter TOMS!! TOMS are awesome. They are so comfortable to me. I think I've worn mine everyday since they came in. I'm thinking I definitely want some of the glitter 1s too.

The hoodie is super cute also!!

Seriously, Melissa we are twins. My glitter TOMs came in yesterday!!!!!! (I got the pink ones.) They really hurt the heels of my feet and gave me a HUGE blister though... but all new shoes do that to me. (I called myself Achilles all day haha) I ordered some heel guards from amazon though, and I'm just going to tough it out. They're too pretty not to wear!

Also, I definitely think you made the right choice about the coach. Either having the coach or M and M is just essentially Disney, and I don't think you will regret it. (I *wish* we could have the coach, but my dad is paying for the majority of our wedding and he would laugh in my face if I even dared to ask for it... and DF said no. ) SO if you do get the coach, I will live vicariously through you! <3

I have 70+ people coming to my wedding on Sept. 24th. so far I only know of about 15 people (that includes me and DF) who have rooms booked. I've sent the discount info, I told them middle of august the room block will be released, I've mentioned Florida resident rates and sent the info on the regular discounts that were out this summer. DF and I decided that if people miss out on discounts or getting a room where they want then oh well. We can't worry about it. If they aren't at a hotel where we are sending a bus then oh well - they'll have to find a way to the wedding. We gave all the info and it's up to them. If they are way off property then they are not getting a welcome bag because I'm not traipsing all over Orlando. There are too many other things to worry about and we figured just about everyone have gone on trips before and they'll figure out what they need to do. There are too many other things to focus on and worry about...

The glitter TOMS are even prettier in person! I wanted the pink pair also, but I could only get one. We worked the coach into the budget but the more I think about it the more I think we don't need it. By the way I love that we are wedding twins!

You are so right about everything!!!!!!! There is only so much we can do for these people. I really just don't want to hear the complaining when they realize that they booked to late and they miss out on saving $$$.

1) I LOVE the STD! (Wow if people didn't know the abbreviations on here that would look SO bad )

3) Sorry about the family stress. How ridiculous for someone to think you will change your wedding date just so they can 'get a free cheeseburger' I understand about people not booking. We have roughly 100 people attending our wedding and not one person has reserved a room. Our last day to book is 10/15; I told people it was 9/30. I think every DisBride does that just in case of stragglers. Don't feel bad for a little white lie. They'll be glad when they get the discount!

A lot of Brides have been saying they might cancel their carriage because the route by the lake will not be able to be taken because it's going to be blocked off. I think I read that there will be a different route behind the buildings or something. At this point a lot of girl's are canceling theirs. It may be something to ask the planner about. When you see where it goes you may decide its not worth the $$$. I would make sure to have a guarantee so they don't try to just get the extra dough out of you and change their answer later. But if the main thing you want is the pic of you getting out of the carriage in front of WP then it doesn't matter where you go. Anyway, don't quote me on any of this, it's just things I've been reading. I personally will not be having Cindy's carriage so I don't know all the details. (I think I read it on LuvLuvLuv's PJ. I already dropped it. The walls don't bother me as much as going threw a parking lot. It just takes away from the moment. We were able to add Mickey and Minnie and still have a little but of $$$ left.

When is your shower? I bought them from stumpsparty.com. They were like $15 and I got them within a week of placing the order.

I have some small updates. I got brand new wedding invitations thanks to our very own Wendy! She did an amazing job!!!!! I sent them out last week and all of our guests loved them.

I really don't have a whole bunch of wedding updates. Next Friday we will be 3 months out and its exciting!!! We bought glass slippers for our wedding favors and just decided to order the disney wedding M & M's to put in them. Here is a pic of what we are going for. I think its from someones PJ but I don't remember so sorry for not giving credit for it.

I ordered the new disney princess bag and cards like Jackie. I am going to use the bag for the wedding day and I will send out the cards as thank you's after the wedding. DF doesn't know this but he has an appointment for the Pirates League during our honeymoon. I got him a Pirates of the Caribbean shirt to wear for that day.

In non wedding news DF got a better job a couple of weeks ago and we will be moving out within the next few weeks! We are sooooooooo excited to move in together. Thats all for now!

And WOOO we both bought the bag and the cards! We're pretty much on the same wavelength at all times. DF tried to buy me the Ariel doll at our local disney store because I'm mad at him for being a lazy bum, but they were sold out.

I love the glass slippers too! I REALLY want those m and m's... but I don't want to give them out. I want to hoard them and keep them for myself! But I'm super selfish.

Thank you! Amanda did a really good job and her prices are reasonable. Budgets suck! I have cut back on so much. I used to just shop everytime I got paid now I have to be smart with my $$. Just an fyi I got the hoodie onsale at walmart for $5 and sent it to her. She charged for the design.

The bag is SO pretty. You need to do some sort of goofy pose with it and then I can replicate it so we can be twinsies. And rumor has it the Belle doll is being released on Monday--- and I am TOTALLY buying it!!!!

Yes! Definitely wait until you get to WDW to buy the 40th anniversary. The print matters SO much for the bag. And I actually haven't watched the Britney tribute yet!
