Just finished my 4x130 for $50 at Target. Hope I get a better one next time. Used a bit of my stash to buy MMB with my DVC so I could buy otup to get my Ap using points. Being able to use discounted dgc made it an even better deal. Now I need to keep going for 2026 dues!

I had the 10% back up to $9 on two of my chase cards and a Bank of America card at Kroger.

I grabbed three gift cards today and thankfully got zero looks when I said separate transactions for them and pulled out my cards.

Also had a target offer yesterday on 3 purchases of $50 giving $15 in target rewards.

My favorite gc offer trip was one to staples with a family member a few years back and we each had like 6-8 cards with offers to run through. The cashier looked absolutely baffled as we started and her manager came over and was like “yeah, it’s ok” the cashier was like “but why-?” manager whispered “I’ll explain it to you later!” Dude knew exactly what was up.

Yeah that is a very decent price. I am very happy with all of my Aul sub purchases 3 total. We fell in love with Aulani but 50% of our Aulani points will be used for SAP.

So crazy, who gets insulted by a low offer, this isn't real estate where you are selling something personal like a home. And even if they did get insulted tbroker could've/should've kept that to himself.

Im pretty sure these kids had no idea what I was talking about.
If needed I would’ve had zero issues showing my cards and drivers license to confirm.

If one needs a bulk amount ($1-2k) in Disney GCs, the best route to accumulate in a short period of time is Target via 5% Red Card + applicable CB websites, right?

I don't have any wholesale club memberships, but unsure you could buy that much (account limits) and if the membership (~$20 for BJS/Sams Club) dues would be worth it.

Sam’s usually has a limit of 4, but you can get 5% off $200 DGC all the time, occasionally 7.5% off, and perhaps a couple of times a year 10% off.

BJ’s does not have a limit as far as I know, but their everyday discount on DGC is about 2-3% and jumps to 5-6% when on sale.

Combine these discounts with a solid cash back credit card and you can easily get 10+% off many times during the year.

I have both memberships and this is how I get the majority of my DGC which I use to pay for maintenance fees on two DVC contracts, 2 AP, and spending during two annual trips. Worth it to me, for sure.

I should mention that I regularly receive cash off coupons from BJ’s - 5 or 6 already this year. They vary, but the two in May were $15 off $150 spend and $10 off $150 spend. I typically use them for DGC purchases. I understand these vary by individual.

Target has the One4All Ultimate gift card on sale this week with a free $10 Target gift card when you purchase a $100 One4All. (Technically, you are not getting the Target gift card for free but getting $10 off the One4all gift card and then paying $10 for the Target gift card). The offer is available for some of the other One4All's also.

The terms and conditions say that it is limited to one per circle account but the system doesn't seem to be enforcing it as I purchased one and when I go to purchase again it still shows the $10 Target gift card.

Just completed a 2x40 for $10 Target spend ... since I was already planning that, figured it was a good time to double up with RedCard Debit sign up to get bonus of $50 (!!) after first $50 purchase. First DGC purchase triggered both, and after completing the 2x40 spend with a second DGC, now I have $60 bucks to apply toward that egregiously expensive Moana 2 Lego set my kid wants for their bday!

If you need a lot of DGCs in a short timeframe, I think that Target is the best choice. I will often "top off" my DGC collection with Target ones if I need more for something like a trip or my DVC dues.

Otherwise, I try to hang out here and grab the better deals throughout the year.

Sam’s also is a great choice. 5% on the $190 cards plus whatever benefits you’ll get on your CC.

If you have the Amex Cash Back card with the AF 6% at a grocery store is also a very easy way to buy cards at a discount…

Don't cut it too close. Usually e-gift cards show up quickly with Target but sometimes they can take a day or two. And once in a while they limit how much you can purchase- unfortunately we don't know the triggers on that, it's a buy as much as you can sort of thing until your orders start getting cancelled or you get all you need.

What cashback site? Many have updated their algos to catch gc purchases and won't approve CB.

The current BJ's deal on $150 physical GC is a better deal (5.5% vs 5%) if you have a membership. But it's not worth purchasing a membership for such a small difference. The discounted Sam's Disney GC will save you about 9.75% with your Discover cashback.

There are better deals throughout the year if you're patient and don't need the GCs soon. My personal goal is a minimum of 10% off but I usually do much better. Just watch this thread and be ready to buy when a good deal develops.

I guess. I don't shop Wal*Mart so the Sam's promos are not on my radar. We used to have an Amex Cash Back card but it wasn't worth the $95 per year for us after the first year when we took advantage of 6% off gift cards at the local Hy-Vee. It was limited to just the first quarter at the time.

Re Sams it will be 4 (sometimes 2) per membership... but after a period of time your membership will be reset to allow you to purchase additional. But (so far as I have experienced ) there is no predictability or consistency to the timing on that process. Someone on this board noted that they had had success NOT buying the max quantity at one time and then being permitted to continue buying one at a time surpassing the limit. I haven't tried this myself, so YMMV. Discover card will transact 5% on DGCs at Sams through June. Every year I consider whether I should even keep mine, and every year I do just for that one single purpose
