Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

if you look on www.wdisneyw.co.uk there is a link for MNSSHP (or a search option) which lists what rides are open, where the best trick or treat spots are etc. We arrived at 6pm (an hour earlier than the ticket says) and we got in no bother. You are given a wrist band for party ID. On arrival everybody (not just the kids!) is given a trick or treat bag. It really is not a night to be missed! A word of warning - if you go NOT dressed up in fancy dress gear, you will be the odd one out!!!! Any fancy dress goes - not just halloween types. ENJOY!

Anyone know about this -

I'm so nervous this last minute trip will get canceled! If I go ahead and order the tickets for the 3rd and we end up not being able to go can I give them to someone else?

I believe they are nonrefundable, but our are names on them, too?

Thanks!

Thankyou beattyfamily. I am one of those excessive planner types that has to know how everything is going to be before I get there. Also, do you also get to see the cast members setting up the Halloween Party decorations? I am just amazed thinking how they can set things up in such a short amount of time.

I think my family and I were planning on going into the park a little early to grab something to eat at Cosmic Ray's. Will this be ok?

Also, if we do this, I'll already be dressed up in my costume so will I feel silly?

Just got my tickets for 10/31!!!!!! I have a quick question. Do people dress up scary? Like grim reapers and monsters? This would scare the heck out of my kids so I'm hoping the answer is no.
THANKS!

I was told that the 31st will be crowded**We're going then, but chose between the 31st and the 29th which falls on a Friday. I think that Friday will be crowded too. People that have gone have said that the main thing about the crowds are the crowds of strollers!! We have PS at the Crystal Palace at 5:30pm. We're meeting our friends there who are Disney Fans**This will be our 1st Family trip there. I'm taking just the kids in Aug-Sept. Can't wait! I don't think that there will be a lot of Ghoulish costumes. This is Disney! There may be some Villians though. Hopefully nothing too scary

I'm sure this question has already been asked and anwered -- so I apologize in advance..

....but, could someone confirm whether you have to use up an admission to go to the party? It's sounding like you don't. The CM who took my order for the tickets wasn't sure.

Thanks!! :D

ANY fancy dress goes! Last year there were more 'Pink Ladies' and cowboys than anything else!! We went on 31 October last year and it was far from crowded. The event was sold out but we never queued for more than 10 mins. Actually even rode Splash Mountain 4 times in a row without having to get off!!! We loved it so much we are going back on 31st this year.

(I posted this in the wrong place the first time - oops and sorry!!).

Thanks to this board, we decided to go ahead and purchase tickets for Friday night, 10/29!! The extended family leaves that morning so we decided to go for it!!

Don't know what we will do in the morning, but naps are a definite for later - kids are 4, 6, and 10 and want to stay up late - parents need naps too :)

I also asked about the ticket info = I was told you don't need an admission ticket if you come to the party at the party time. Meaning, if you come earlier in the day, you need your regular pass but at party time, on the party pass. HOpe that helps....

Thanks for all the helpful advice. We are looking forward to a good time!

Thanks,
Annette

Gabrielle...this is my family's 9th year at MNSSHP and I PROMISE you,you do NOT have to use any other ticket to get in besides your party event ticket!:earsboy:

don8life ...Do people dress up scary? Like grim reapers and monsters? ...my son Erich has been going since he was 2 and we've NEVER come across any Halloween party guests that have scared him or ME!!!! So the answer is no!

I made a 5:30 PS for Crystal palace the night of our MNSSHP b/c husband didn't care for LTT last time. I was told that we would all need regular admission for this, not just party tickets. Not a problem for 3 of us with APs but DS 3 doesn't have one. I'd hate to use a park hopper day and pay 40-50$ for him to have dinner. I'm thinking either they'll let this slide or we'll say he's a big 2 yo. Anyone know for sure?

Will people going in from 4pm be allowed in in their costumes?

Have some bad news....due to some work conflicts we are NOT going to be able to make our WDW trip and use the MNSSHP tickets that we have purchased. We have 5 adult tickets and 1 child ticket for October 14th. If anyone needs these, please give me a PM. I am so envious of all of you!

Baloo, thank you so much for starting this thread! We just decided a couple of weeks ago to make a quicky trip in October since the kids have the Friday before Columbus day off. We were able to get OKW and we are so excited! We ordered tickets to the party for 10/08 and they came very quickly. We will be doing a water park or pool hopping earlier that day, eating our dinner in the room, then heading for the party! My kids are so excited, we haven't decided on costumes yet though. DH got us a good rate with American as he has been flying a lot this summer for work (in Salt Lake City right now.) We used our other TS to go to Williamsburg, Va in June and it was great but too early in the summer, we are happy to be planning another trip!

Is the Halloween party geared more towards children? My husband and I (50ish) were thinking of going but didn't plan on wearing costumes. Will we be out of place? Thanks

GrimGhost-I bought tickets for that day just a few days ago so I think not. Haven't gotten them yet though-hmmmm
