Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

Is the Halloween party geared more towards children? My husband and I (50ish) were thinking of going but didn't plan on wearing costumes. Will we be out of place? Thanks

DH and I take a trip w/o the kids occasionally to WDW. I think it would be a blast to go to MNSSHP childless!!! I would guess about 1/3 or 1/4 of the people don't wear costumes. My DH is usually pretty conservative, but dresses up too!!!

It is no more geared just towards children then the MK is any other day. My mother and I went last year and are going again this year(and I'm going two other times too!) We didn't dress up last year, but we saw so many adults dressed up that we decided to dress up this year. Go for it!

Will the parade & fireworks be similar to the regular MK nights? Trying to figure out if we should stay late on our MK night later in the week or if we'd be seeing similar parade/show as the party.

Thanks!

No they will not be the same. The parade at MNSSHP is the Halloween parade.

The fireworks, I believe, will be Fantasy In the Sky again.

We will be at the party Oct. 24th. We got ps for LTT at 5:05. I can barely stand the waiting:crazy:

We dressed up last year, but I think we are going to wear our shirts that we got from the party last year.

See you there,

poohangel

We are also going on Oct. 24th. Just ordered our tickets Monday. We are so excited we can hardly stand it!! :thewave:

Come on Oct. 24th!!! :jumping2:

As an adult did you dress up? if so were you glad you did or would you have been more 'comfortable' not dressing up.

We are going on the 12th and still are not sure if we adults should dress up.

I fell so silly getting hung up on such a stupid decision

I went last year and did not dress up. Once there I wished I had, enough so that I am going this year and I am dressing up this time. Go for it!

PS at CP.

Are you dressing up clr1194? My kids will be DD(5) Wendy, DS(3) Peter Pan, DD(21 mths) Tinkerbell. I'm thinking I'll buy DH a Captain Hook Hat and I may be Mr. Smee (or maybe just a T-shirt).

Can't wait!

lovesdumbo-

My DSis and I are thinking about dressing up as Mouseteers, still trying to decide. We tried to talk BIL into it but he said "no."

I bet your kids are going to be too cute! I will keep an eye open for your bunch.

We don't have a PS for that night, we are thinking about just hitting Cosmic Ray's.

5 years ago we went at Halloween and my then 10 year old daughter dressed in her ballet costume as Shirley Temple and won the costume contest at the Polynesian. She got a nice pumpkin bucket filled with Disney toys and candy. My son brought his "Scream" costume with him from home (teenager!) and my husband and I just wore our regular flowery vacation clothes as well as leis we got from the Polynesian. The kids said we had to dress up too. We had a great time!

Just ordered tickets for the 3rd.

Total for 2 adults was $71.06.

Is that right?

Did they charge shipping or something or was this not the advance price?

Thanks!

Go to the mnsshp on Oct 3 with PS at LTT at 5something. This will be our second time to attend this party. We didnt have costumes last time because it was a last minute decision to go. The kids and DW had just as much fun doing Disney. It was neat seeing all the creativity in the costumes. The best part was that the park was less crowded and we could ride Buzz Lightyear several times in a row. My kids could careless if they are in costume as long as they are having fun. DW and I are thrilled that our kids are like that. Takes the pressure off of coming up with ideas to dress up. In all that if you dont want to dress in costume you wont be the only one in the park with that idea.
Yes its fun doing that and I enjoy seeing the creativity but that is not my cup of tea

Can't wait till Disney trip Sept 29 - Oct 6

When I bought mine a few days ago, the CM said that none of the dates are blacked out, meaning there are still tickets available for all...

We will be going on the 3rd as well! Have 5:15 at LTT but unsure if we can make it from AKL to LTT in time ... hope to move it to later...
WHAT TIME IS THE PARADE? Hope to catch it while in Liberty Square...
thanks everyone and have wonderful trips!:wave2:

No hubby backing out now... It is official! I ordered tickets today and gave my measurements to the woman making my costume.

Sooo, if anyone sees a Alice and Mad Hatter on the 3rd, please say HELLO!!!
