OMG! I know I'm supposed to save all this weeks drama for the TR, but I have to post this before I burst!

So yesterday Donald took his boys to get haircuts at the barbershop, right. I usually cut Evans hair, but he screams and carries on so I decided I didn't need the drama and would pay someone else to deal with it. Well, first let me say he was a good boy. No crying at all. Well, there was crying, but it wasn't coming from Evan.

So anyway, I'm not familiar with barber lingo so, my Dneph Dewey got a "crew cut". It looked very nice on him. He's got thick dark hair, so the cut looked really good. So I tell Bob, the Barber to give Evan the same thing. OMG! Evan's hair is baby hair still, right. It's like a medium brown, not black like Dewey's and it's fine, not like Deweys. Well, to cut to the chase, my son looks like friggin' Forest Gump! He looks bald! I wanted to cry right then and there, but I saved it for the car. He looks so bad! I'm going to make him wear a hat all the time, even in the pool!

Waldo and Andy say it looks fine, but I hate it!

Ok, I've got to run to DTD before it gets too hot. I'll be back... soonish.

I can tell this waiting for my trip return isn't going to work for me!

I posted earlier in the day but I don't know where it went. I was all bummed because I'd missed your "final" post. I was telling you how sad I was that I would have to wait for weeks (yes, WEEKS!) before you would get back to your TR. I don't know where the post went, but I won. I got another update from you.

I cut my oldest son's hair once when he was 3. Crew cut. Yup, "when crew cuts go bad". He looked like a little bruiser. It was awful. I feel for you. The good news is that because it's so short now, once it starts to grow in, it fills in fast. By next week it might look completely different.

Tracy - Don't worry about Evan's hair. I specifically gave my boys buzz cuts the day before our trip and they were glad I did. They loved it and it was so much nicer for them with the heat. Trust me, it will be totally fine...

Add me to the list - I sent my DS with his Dad for a cut before a vacation and he, too, came back buzzed. My sweet baby boy looked like a little thug!

As for Evan's hair, just give it a few days and I'm sure it won't seem as bad, and like you said there is always the hat option

The ped. told us some kids are affected differently. I'm glad we did a test run on it before we got on the plane!

I totally love it! No red? But that's okay, I'm coloring my hair today...er, I mean letting my hair naturally go an intense red....I'm sitting here right now counting down the minutes until shower time. We'll see...

Don't worry T it will grow back fast! My mom took DS4 to the barber last Thursday and my baby came back almost bald! I kept thnking my vacation pics are going to be awful. I was looking at him this morning though and it is already starting to fill in!

His hair will grow so quickly by WDW time is will look great!!
