My bf and I will be staying at Ron Jon on Friday night. Have you ever stayed there? We haven't but it looks nice.

Debbie

Yes we've stayed there twice before, it's a lovely resort, especially the pool area with it's lazy river :) The only thing that let it down last time was the restaurant, so we will probably eat at Grills or Fishlips

Mandy - yes,from Chelmsford :thumbsup2

Safe travels to all those coming across the pond. :goodvibes

Lucky you being able to escape from our predictably bad weather to the US :thumbsup2

Thanks, I still can't see me being organised by tonight though ;)

Never mind fellow Brit, hello neighbour, I see you're from Coventry, we live in Nuneaton (we're both originally from Cov). If fact I was in dreary & wet Coventry this morning, I'll be so glad to get to some sunshine :beach:

Ha, practically next door - And I am probably closer than you realise as I am in Keresley, mid way between Coventry and Nuneaton. I'll listen out for the accent, but you might miss mine as I am a Londoner originally...

And yes, get me away from the rain!

Well gang, I tried to get some info on how full our cruise might be....and I can't figure out a thing. Cruisefish lists 78% of categories still available, but my TA lists everything except the IGT/OGT/VGT and cat 4s as "Call us" which usually means sold. The DCL web site will allow you to choose any category you wish (bet this is where Cruisefish gets 78% of cats available), but when I attempt to choose a room they are all in gty status.

What I think--the ship is largely full with the great discounts that were available, but they will happily book a few more cabins at any price a person wishes to pay....and then upgrade them to what is really available.

Packing almost done. House stuff done. Tomorrow mow grass...

Cat 4A is still showing significant number of actual bookable cabins including 10122 which is te CAT4A I was in on my Jan sailing on Dream and NOT one of the list of available cabins offered (ie you have to enter the number rather than select it).

I hope everyone makes it here safely. It is going to be a breezy 90 degrees today at The World. See you all on the ship

 Hey Guys, I'm Mandy, and I'm from the UK. I will be travelling with my hubby Paul, and would you believe, we were mad enough to book this vacation at the weekend :faint:

We'll be flying over to the US on Thursday, and we'll be spending a couple of nights at the Ron Jon Resort

I'm sure I'm ultra-excited now, though I feel like I'm in a blind panic :rotfl2::rotfl2:

See you all in a few days ::yes::

We got an email yesterday confirming this tour, so I hope we'll be touring with some DISers :)

Welcome, Mandy! I thought that we were insane to book just a month ago!!

:hyper:

I know Keresley well :) I'm orginally from Allesley Park and visit my mum several times a week and drive home via the lanes from the Tamworth Road

Thank goodness it's drier today, it looks like the cold weather is due back at the end of the week

Packing almost done. House stuff done. Tomorrow mow grass...

I wish I'd had the chance to mow the grass this week, but the ground is so wet, oh well it will just have to be a jungle when I get home ;)

Bring on 90 degrees !!! :dance3:

Thanks for the welcome. Hmm, insane just about sums me up :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I don't know where my head has been at... but I've been telling everybody the WRONG cabin number :headache:

I just realized that we are in 5672, (not 6670)... I can't believe I just realized our correct cabin number 2 days before we leave!! Better than trying to go to the wrong cabin once on board I suppose :rotfl2:

Sorry to those on my FE group... I know I printed my list a while ago :)

Hopefully I'm not posting too late... I know lots of ppl have left already :) Well, maybe the ppl in the other cabin have kids too and will have playdates already set up for their kids!! ;)

Now, off to pack....

Updated Group 1 (munchie's room #).

Also just a reminder to check the wipe off board on our door for changes (please write any changes by 5pm on embarkation day). We are in 6060.

We will have our meet on Sunday at 2pm. We'll meet by the chair near Bon Voyage bar just off the atrium.

Can't believe it's already Wednesday!! See you all soon!!!

Kristie

:cool1::yay: I'm officially done with work!! At home with the suitcases open and two bedrooms strewn with clothes that may or may not make it depending on how the mood strikes as I go to put them in! :rotfl:

We leave tomorrow morning - I can't believe that our vacation is finally here! So excited to see the new ship and to meet everyone that can make it on Sunday. :thumbsup2 I can feel that sea breeze and that cold beverage in my hand already. :drinking1

Safe travels to all, hope those that are at WDW already are having an awesome time! :goodvibes

Thanks - I'm looking forward to the stay.

Ok, suitcases out, most of DD's stuff packed, mine started. 1 1/2 day of work left. Now, my mind is racing with all the things I don't want to forget.

I got most of my packing done last night, still a few things to compile that I can't stop thinking about while I'm at work. Haven't been sleeping well, I think I'm too excited! Hard to go to sleep, and once I do I wake up really early. I'm looking forward to a brand new bed on the ship. :dance3:

Finally done with work! Now to pack - Best starting thinking about FE gifts - LOL (Not really, that was done weeks ago).

Done my online check in for my flight tomorrow so I feel like in NEARLY on my way.

So jealous of everyone who is already down there or on their way!! Still stressing over packing, etc.

See everyone soon.

I just got my door decorations done... I wasn't sure I was going to get them done this time. They are kind of lame, I did not laminate them but the kids will think they are neat!

Safe travels to everyone. Our clothes are out, just need to pack them tomorrow.

I've checked into the airport Hyatt and will be meeting DD's flight tomorrow at 9:30. I think I need to wander down to the ground transportation level just to get a preview!
