Hi all ....... DH just booked us for a quick weekend Memorial Day, so I thought I'd hop on this thread to watch for a possible code! Since we'll be back the week of July 4th, it'd sure be nice to save a few bucks in May!

This will be our first Trip to WDW. We are going May 26 to June 1. I currently have a room only AAA discout of 10% on our room in the Contemporary Garden Wing. I'm hoping for a package discount from Disney. I know I can add a package to the AAA, but I would have to use a AAA TA. And I really don't want to use a travel agent.

Just booked our flight Spirit $9 club- May 1st to May 9th $40.00 each way Now where to stay? POFQ OR Riverside.

We are going the 2nd to the 10th and am looking for airfare, but I am kind of feed up with Spirit, for that price I would book it though. How much does it cost to join the club? Thanks!

We are staying at AKL villas with DVC, but have friends coming so I really want a code for them for AKL. Still looking. We will have AP so we could book the room for them. No word on AP rates yet right???? Since we have DVC I don't look at codes too much. I did get a post card one for 40% off, of course not those dates.

I called earlier and had a code, but not for May. But I am going to keep at it. I booked Poly anyway and I am really hoping for a code b/c it is really expensive without one. DH will when he find out how much...lol.

Just a heads up for you on the AP room-they now required an AP holder to be listed as an occupant in the room to get the discount. Do your friends have AAA?

Thanks for the heads up. It used to be if you were there at check in (and we are traveling together) that would be enough. They do have AAA. I always thought their discounts weren't so great.

Just wanted to say "hi" rather than lurk on this thread - as the suspense is making me crazy too

We haven't booked, but are looking for a good AP rate for the first week in May...I'm torn between booking somewhere and hoping for a code or holding off until they put them out there! We don't have enough DVC points to head down for another trip, but are considering a quick visit due to our APs.

Do a lot of people wait (not-so-patiently) til the last minute?

We hadn't planned on going back to WDW this year until Dec. but DH has a conference in Orlando May 11 - 17 so we might as well take advantage of it! We are saving our DVC points for our Dec. trip so we are currently considering a mod. and hoping for a code to make the cost closer to DH's lodging per diem. Patiently waiting for a FL or AP rate to pop up. In all of the years that we've been going we've never gotten a code other than the FL or AP.
