I think we finally have a name for the Smart Car. The name is going to be either, Mr. Fezziwig or Mrs. Fezziwig. We haven't decided yet.

Also this morning Sukie said, "I see that you have finally given in and bought a German Car." (Smart is made by Mercedes Benz)

I said, "Yes, but it's made in France."

.... Long pause.

Then I said, "I suppose we can say it's made by French collaborators."

..... Another long pause

Sukie then said, "So, I guess we can say that we're buying a Vichy car?"

I have not watched a baseball game on TV since 1994, when the players strike prevented the Expos from possibly going all the way....best record in baseball and they were on a roll

I took Liam to a few Ottawa Lynx games, but after watching the complete lack of talent the Expos, Orioles and finally the Phillies sent to Ottawa...we stopped going

I was a huge baseball fan for years...even went to Fenway Park for a game....right beside the Green Monster...but now all I do is coach my son's softball teams..

I did the long form on-line app this time, and I was in the Passport Office maybe 10 minutes tops, from entering to leaving, very different from the last time, which took hours.

I did that too.....but when I went in October...the waits were 45 minutes to get into the office and at least 35 minutes sitting waiting for your number to be called....then it took 2 weeks past their 'guaranteed delivery date' to get them....ugh

Five weeks from today right now I'll be boarding my plane to go to FL. WOW it's coming up quickly now.......and we're approaching that one month mark.

This has been a tough year for me and John and we really need this vacation very badly......like so many others on here.

In a blink of an eye.....we'll be on that plane.

Who else wants to do breakfast with Marilyn and John before they leave LA on Wed May 28th??? So far it's me and John and Woody and Mrs. Woody and Tammy Alphabet and daughter. Anyone else want to come???? Tammy, will your son be joining us too? What are your kids names?

Many thanks to PJ for putting together the Palo lists. Hopefully everyone will get their requests fillled.

If they're doing the Palo requests soon, then we can pretty much be assured to get our room assignments too very shortly.

Gydell, when are you leaving for St. Maartin? That's when we'll get our assignments.

Yes, I was thinking we would use the fish extenders. It certainly doesn't need to be open to every day. I am very open to suggestions and some variety of each even day or something would be great. Just to have the children receive something every now and then and have some more excitement to look forward to. I don't want to discourage people based on the number of gifts or the amount of money involved. Let's just add to the magic of our children's experience.

I thought they were getting stuff from the FG teams. I know our team is doing for the kids.

They have computers in the hotels and dh said his company is going to have more set up for us to use. I will be checking daily and I have my dd checking while I am gone too! It also is going to be when (8th) you can make ressies for the free dining at WDW. A friend is doing that for me. And I will have my cell phone!

Oh, Who suggested the Order of the Ditch certificates? I got mine today, it is so cool.

Do you know if the Captain will sign it, I left the commander signature line blank.

I think it is a pretty good chance that he will sign it. I bought a book on the making of the Magic, gave it to guest services and they had him sign it and returned it to the stateroom. He usually does a signing session but if you want to avoid the line and wait this is a much better way to do it. It takes a few days to get it back but they guarantee you will have it by the end of the cruise. Think I will order one for DH and I today and get the Captain to sign it on board.

Isn't it a shame to wait so long for the time to come to take care of all these things and then when the time gets here......you're due to be out of town. It's always the way. Well I'm glad you've got it covered with other people helping you out and I'm glad you'll have access to the internet so you can let us know when you find out that you're assigned.
