Debbie - for some reason I'm not a candidate for injection allergy med? Don't know WHY - something to do with the allergic response type I had to the grass -

So oral meds it is - actually I may end up on asthma meds - even though I don't have IT, but I have a airway contraction issue if that makes sense - so if all this doesn't work, I move on to the asthma meds.

Honestly - I think it will get better with time. Zyrtec generally does well for me - but I've only been back on it for 3 weeks - so it just takes a while to get into high gear - plus everything is blooming now probably adding insult to injury.

I caved and took the pred - I can feel better and when I blow my nose it isn't bloody. It is odd - my nose isn't snotty at all - just feels really swollen.

I registered my baby for Kindergarden today.

Up here packing a bit for this weekend. In a way, I'll be glad to get it over so I can put all my energies toward WDW trip!

Lorrie - that is odd that you aren't on allergy shots. I used to take them - 3 per week every week, then gradually got down to one shot every other week. Made a HUGE difference! That was back in high school and college. I just know how you feel though and I hate it for you!

Yes, I'm craigslisting most of this stuff - the big stuff anyway. The little stuff I may put on ebay. Haven't really gotten to some of it yet.

So last night we got part of the sectional downstairs and into the garage - GONE! Then we got our two dressers and nightstands up to Ally's room, and the bed is set up, or at least the bed frame. We've still got the mattress and box spring on our floor - we'll move it up tomorrow morning. I'll have fun getting the room in order for Ally tomorrow so she can come home to a surprise after school. I just won't be able to get it painted for a couple of weeks though. And I still have all the Disney dining invitations up on the wall in there. But I'll get it done for her after spring break hopefully.

We got new pillows for our bed and they were NOT cheap. And I hate them. And I"m the one who wanted them!!! They were sooooo comfy at the store, but I woke up every hour or so last night and my neck hurt. And of course, pillows are non-returnable.

Jeff is still in his pissy mood. Left this morning without even saying goodbye. Don't know what his problem is but I'm gonna tell him that if he doesn't get over it, he can forget about his family coming to stay with us. Either that or Ally and I will leave a week early and go to my parent's house. And don't kid yourself. I'll load up the car as soon as her party is over and leave. I'm just not gonna deal with his moodiness and then add in his family. Ain't gonna happen.

Kara - They threw so much info at me that day, it is still a little foggy. I'm going to recap with her at my followup mid-month. As I remember, I am serverely allergic to fescue grass and blue grass - which isn't a common allergy at all, and to have a swelling reaction to it, vs. sneezing, etc is extremely rare so that is why - maybe they don't have the mix. I'll get more on that during the next visit, but they told me it wasn't a "route" I could take.

Jeff.... sounds like he could be Carlos. Not funny, I know, but good for you of letting him know you won't put up with it. Carlos was like that this weekend and I just told him he was being a moody a** and told him he needed to get out of it. His right to be a pain ended where it started affecting my day. Yesterday he was in a REALLY good mood.

I'm convinced men get PMS.

i truly believe they are controlled by the cycles of the moon. It sounds nutty but think about how it effects the oceans. There isn't any reason men are influenced by it. My mom was a ICU nurse for many years. She dreaded working onthe full moon nights. She said that's when all the crazies came in.

I have a ticker!!!!!!!!!! okay it is only to Vegas but still it is a trip!!!!!!!!!! Now I need to drop weight fast. I've put on 10 lbs since last summer and I know my clothes aren't going to fit so out goes all the white sugar and processed things.

What is this "notifications" thingy? And friend requests? I really haven't been on since the weekend - have I missed something?

I plan to be back on this afternoon - I'm so behind; but we were consumed with this scholastic/creative competition Lauren had this weekend.

One bit of news: GOT JONAS BROTHERS TICKETS yesterday. Lauren had a presale code so we got first access. Most stressful 45 minutes of my life! Wound up with 7 row, first section off the floor on the risers, staring at the smack center of the stage baby! We are happy girls!

Cammie - woo hoo on JB tix!!!! As for the boards, it is a lot like enchanted now. They were down a lot of the weekend for some sort of upgrade. I know it was really slow yesterday...... Otherwise, all seems the same to me.

Laura - I agree about the moon. When I worked at Enterprise, we hated full moons cause all the crazies really DID come out!!! I just called Jeff and chewed him out over the phone. I've had it!!! I work all day (well, sorta, we're pretty slow now!!!) and then in the evening its nonstop too! He doesn't get home until about 6 or 6:30 and he usually cooks dinner. Then he plops on the couch and that's it. Meanwhile, I'm doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning up the kitchen, picking up after everyone, etc. It never ends...... I should be way more of a b**** than I am!!!

Free Dining here we come. If the dates are correct the will coincide with F&W so Mike's birthday will be celebrated a bit late Oh Well. I think he will like this better.

Kara- I think you looked great as a brunette,but other than pics I have never seen you blonde so I bet you'll look great!
As a side note we will driving down to Disney this time. If you can't make it to meet us while we are there then maybe we can hit dinner on our way there or home!

Meant to mention went to the Doc today everything is good and we are going to actively start trying for baby #2 I have to start prenatal vitamins and my Gestational Diabetes diet so that I can be ahead of the game when I do get pregnant.

Kara - On the blond. Okay, I bit my tounge when you posted your picture on the TR - I LOVE the hairstyle, but you are right that color and your personality don't jive in my book. I think you look so much better blond - not that you looked like a hag but you know what I mean.

Cammie - great score on the tix! I bet you all are so happy! YAY!

Jillian - good luck on the baby! I stressed so much over that whole process. I know more fertility garbage than you'd care to know. FYI - Shettles method works in my book... . Glad all went well at the dr - and good for you starting the gestational diabetes diet - I did the preeclamptic diet too and I sware it made a TON of difference. My 2nd pregnancy was so much better than my first.

I'll be around tomorrow. No biggy. I decided to take the prednisone. I feel better so I guess it was the right thing to do. The swelling is way down. I was just worried about the prednisone, but saw people had been on it for YEARS and figured it would be okay since I've only taken it twice in my life.

Cammie - I'm lost with all these requests. I have no clue what is going on - I just said YES! YES - whatever that means, but I DO now know what subscribing means!

Laura - a ticker! TO VEGAS! (minus kids - right?) That is a FUN place! Seriously FUN place! We saw O there and LOVED it - see it if it is still running. I got the partially blocked view seats to save money - even Carlos said we should have sprung for nice seats - the show was that amazing! YAY for you!

Tessa - been thinking of you too. I'm reading a book I thought you might enjoy... "Power of Less" very good. Deals with clutter, etc.

I'm packing up still - but about to turn in. Today was fun. I put out 11 bags of mulch, 2 bags of soil, and planted 9 flaux in the yard. Yep, call me Kara. And the scary thing is that was TWO of my beds. I still have beds all around the perimeter of our house.

Hiya all -

been MIA *** of flu - again (mine, kids, hubby's, MIL's - one after another) !!!!!!! but today I was able to actually blow my nose for the first time in a week without having to be peeled off the ceiling with sinus pain!

Also had troubles at school - someone was an idiot and took someone else's phone, anyhow, it was someone I was working with (not the brightest button in the box if you know what I mean!)- thankfully they got caught and I had to give police statements etc... still waiting to see if I have to stand up in court and say what went on.... really put a downer on work for me though, but I'm sure everything will blow over in the end.

Still trying to shift some weight and some clutter, so will definitely have to try The Power of Less - I'm sure I've seen it in our local library, so INSTEAD OF BUYING - I will borrow it and NOT add to the clutter - see, I've started already!

Will go catch up the 20 pages or whatever I missed... bye for now..

Hello all! I am blonde again!!!! And I love it! Love the way she did it! Love the way she cut it! Loved this new gal I went to!!! Here's the problem.... it cost MORE than the place I used to go that Jeff asked to stop going to. He asked me to please find a cheaper place to get it done. Who knew??? Now I'm gonna have to sell more stuff to keep up with these prices! But sooooo worth it!

Just waiting on the furniture this morning so I can get the house inorder. I'm washing all bed linens, comforters, everything!!! So it will all be fresh and new! Got everything upstairs for Ally, so I'm gonna go get her bed made up, then once our stuff gets here I can move our clothes into our new dressers, and move our drawers upstairs and get Ally's stuff put away. Got the upstairs bathrooms cleaned yesterday, and installed new towel racks in both bathrooms. The only towel racks were IN the showers, and too high for Ally to reach, so I put one down low for her.

Think I've sold this computer desk to a neighbor who is moving and going to home school her kids. But I haven't seen any action on the kids toys..... If I don't hear something later this week, it's going to be donated. I just want it GONE!

I'll post pics of all the new rooms later. If I ever get it done.....
