Laura - I didn't realize you were having such issues with Beth either. However, for what it is worth (my best friend, Laura

my BF's son had similar issues. K, & 1st the SCHOOL pushed for her to put him on ADD meds - she just didn't want to - but wanted to do the best for him. She met with our cities leading dr - and one thing he said is that instead of doing Ritalin which is in the cocaine family

that a good way to help children was to let them have a highly charged beverage - Mt. Dew, Jolt.

BF did this - and really didn't see that it helped him focus so thought it might be something else. Anyway, they struggled for 2 years with it. They did get a "coach" psychologist to work with him and that helped some - but he picked up on it and started asking what was wrong with him. etc.
By second grade, average kid - all "S"'s on the report card - E in reading - perfect child - just grew out of it. He didn't have the hitting issues, but he didn't interact well with kids, wanted adult interaction, kids would stop playing with him because he had to be fully in charge of the play, etc. All this to say seeking help outside you is great - and keep in mind that even if today there is something going on, it may not be in a year or so.
Keep us posted though!
Kara - love the pictures girl! I thought at first Ally's room (old room) was her new room and I thought it looked younger. I love her new room - especially the colors. your bed is the same almost as mine! I just have no posters. Did that once, and it does make the room look smaller to me. We have a super small bedroom - and it is rectangular - so I couldn't do a poster, but it looks like your room handles it well!
Guess what? Nicolas came running into my bedroom this morning talking about these cool boys he saw on TV that were just plain AWESOME!

So I thought it was a new show or something - nope it was the Jonas Brothers

I guess they have some show on soon and he saw a preview - great?!?!? Am I getting sucked into your world already?
