Hi Linda!

Repeat after me....run the full.....run the full.....run the full....run the full....

;)

WOW...great job Linda.

You should run the full with Scott next year LOL! You two are going to be eclipsing me for sure. You are speedy girl! Born runner...what I wouldn't give for that LOL!:thumbsup2

Definitely run the full. WTG!!!!!

Yeah, I'm not a runner, but w/ that pace... You are doing awesome! I agree w/ Scott and Amy... Go for the Full! You could so rock it!

Keep it up! Your drive to get out there in that nasty weather is awesome! I'd definately have hard time doing that. That is pure dedication right there!

OK guys after having discussion here and at home about doing the full I have literally had dreams where I was not able to do it- cramping, ouf of breath etc....

Also I did try to register online and it told me it was not a secure site and flashed all these warnings. No one else has problems- Is that an OMEN!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone else mailed it in?

Thanks for your help,
Linda

Hi Linda!

I'm so confident that you could totally finish that marathon. Don't let it stress you out. Barring any major injury, it's a mental test just as much as anything else...the way you are knocking out 10 miles proves to me that you have what it takes to finish...crossing that line is so rewarding!! Yes, everyone is sore afterwards, but it only lasts for a bit...and the better you train, the lesser the pain (tried to make that rhyme!)

As far as the site...I haven't encountered any issues. You went to www.disneyworldmarathon.com right? I'm sure the mail in process is just fine...and the race won't fill up for a while so no worries there.

Hope you are having a good day!

Hi, Linda. I think you are doing an AWESOME job with your runs and you can do ANYTHING that you really want to do, including the full! Keep us posted on what you decide - I think you would do REALLY GREAT if you ran it.

I am SO IMPRESSED with you getting out there no matter the weather. That kind of determination is an inspiration! Keep going - you'll be ready for the full in no time!!:thumbsup2

Hope you have a great weekend!

Susan

Hi Linda,

I hope you managed to register for the race. You will do great!

Have a good weekend,
Beth

Yesterday I ran on the treadmill. It was about 17 here without the wind chill. I will pass on that weather.

How does the treadmill translate to outside- does it? I feel like I am running at a fast pace intervals of 5.4 -6.0 but distance is the pits for 30 mins.

What gives????????

Still waffling about the marathon. The race doesn't bother me right now it is getting there.I would like just my husband and I to go but I am afraid to fly without the kids.Sounds dumb I know.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend,
Linda

Hey Linda!

First of all, congratulations on signing up for the Full!!!! Like I said in my journal, it is an experience you will never forget. And it is an accomplishment you will be VERY PROUD of afterwards!! I still want to wear my medal around two weeks later because I am still on a high that I finished the race!!!

WOW! A great pace on your workout yesterday, and a bloody nose! I would have stopped if I got a bloody nose, and you kept going! Great job!!

As for the TM, I always find that I can go a little faster on the TM. Not sure why, because I HATE running on the TM.

Keep up the good work!!

Thanks Laurie for all your input. I am planning on a half here in town April 6th.That is my first goal.

I am kind of looking at it (WDW) as if I finish it will still be OK.Would like to run all the way though.I get nauseous just typing this :)

Linda

Your half in April sounds like a great goal...you will do great!

Don't get nervous, you will be fine! I was so nervous right before the race, and I have to say once the race started all those nerves were gone. So, don't worry about it yet..believe me you will drive yourself crazy for a year...I know that feeling all to well! You are going to do great!!

Ok...time to head out for a run!
