I am deciding between a 4 night Wish in late January vs a 3 night Wish in late April. The 4 night is $3650 with the 50% off 3rd/4th offer and the 3 night is $3163 with a 10% placeholder. For less than $500, we could have the extra night in January but I really prefer warmer weather so we can be in the water happily at Castaway, use the pools, splash pad, etc. Am I silly to still choose the 3 night? We live 1.5 hours from Port Canaveral so we don't pay for flights to make it "worth the trip." We will have a 2 and 4 year old with us.

Since you're in driving distance, I can justify the 3 night if it's more enjoyable to you.

But the ocean temp for me today is 66 degrees, so I'd probably choose the 4 night in January.

January can sure be tough to figure out the weather here in Florida. Even when we have warmer days the water will still be cold. Not sure if DCL heats the pools. I would normally go for the 4 night since the cost isn’t much different. But in this case I would go in April
Since you aren’t paying to fly 4 people

If you want to get in the water at one of the islands then April.

I sailed out of Miami on the Magic in January on year. The weather was lovely.
CC water was a bit chilly.

So you never know. The first DCL that my family ever took was Easter week in April 2010. The whole crew told us that it was the best weather they had all year. It had been windy, rainy, and stormy for the first three months of the year.

I always love as many days as I can get on any Disney ship. Good luck with your decision and happy sailing.
🫶🏻🚢👍🏻
