I know that sometimes it seems like the lbs are coming off slowly, but look at it this way...you have a better chance of keeping them off if you do it slowly rather than rapidly. That means that you are learning new behaviors along the way that will help you maintain later.

I'm back! I had a very nice vacation/holiday. We went to the races down in Daytona. We also went to Downtown Disney and DisneyQuest. I ate whatever I wanted and didn't do any exercise. We even tried Bongos and Cafe Tu Tu Tango. Cafe was awesome, loved it!

I weighed myself yesterday and I'm still at 164! So today I'm back on my diet and going to the gym today. I got my navel re-pierced and was considering a tattoo, but I'm waiting to find the right tattoo before getting one. They had cute ones to choose from, but since I'm going to be wearing it forever I want to make sure that is the one I want.

Eta:I did go to the gym. Worked out with cardio and strength training for an hour.
B: toast w/ tsp peanut butter and a cup of green tea

L: protein shake for lunch

D: baked pork chop w/ 3/4 c. mixed veggies and water

Had a bowl of ice cream, half bowl of cheetos and then a sundae crunch ice cream! :rolleyes:
 
Yesterday:

B: nothing

l: quarter pounder meal

D: 1 piece of pepperoni pizza and a handful of cheese fries

Had a small bowl of ice cream with cookies

No exercise
 
Today/thursday:

b: toast w/ tsp peanut butter
c. green tea

l: 1/2 c. tuna and piece of cheddar cheese
c. green tea

d: 2 pieces of turkey
c. carrots
c. broccoli
1 small apple
c. vanilla ice cream w/ water

Did 1 hr cardio combined w/ strength training! Finally, getting back into the groove!
 

Friday:

Did cycling for an hour. Also ran up and down the stairs 5 times. Did a little pilates as well.

b: hard boiled egg
toast
c. green tea

l: 1/2 c. tuna
half apple

d: c. broccoli
1/2 c. carrots
2 hot dogs- plain
1/2 c. vanilla ice cream
 
Saturday-

Went to the gym and worked out for an hour.
Also did some yard work.

b- can't remember what I had for breakfast..Maybe hard boiled egg and toast.

l- egg, toast, jr bacon cheeseburger, handful of fries, oreo shake

d- Had enchildas at a mexican restaurant w/ sweet tea


Sunday-
No gym today but did some yard work.

b- apple, piece of cheese, and green tea

l- nada

d- sandwich that consisted of turkey, ham, 2 cheeses, egg, avocado, mayo and mustard.
handful of cheetos
strawberry crunch ice cream bar
2 mountain dews
 
Monday-

Going to do gym workout! I love to do strength training. I weighed myself and I'm at 162. I'm trying to get to 134. My trainer says I should've been at my target weight by now. So I'm keeping at it. I'm supposed to see my trainer on Wednesday. She says that I should keep doing this diet until I reach my target weight and then after just maintain it. She said I'll need to have 1300 calories a day then.

l: 1/2 c. tuna and a piece of cheese w/ c. green tea



d: 2 pieces of turkey

c. green beans

c. vanilla ice cream

Tuesday-

l: 1/2 c. tuna and 5 saltines

d: 2 hotdogs
1/2 c. vanilla ice cream
c. broccoli
1/2 c. carrots

Did one hour of spinning and went up a flight of stairs 8 times.

Today,
I was feeling depressed. I have no in real life friends. The only thing I look forward to in the day is exercising! :rolleyes: The kids keep me kinda busy but there are sometimes when I wish that I had a friend to talk to and hang out with. It gets so boring being in the house. I would work but I doubt I'll be able to get a good paying job. I only have a high school diploma. I was going to college but that didn't last very long. I picked criminal justice and that didn't really work out for me. So, now I have no idea what I want to do. I just know that I want to have a good paying career and something that I'll enjoy doing.
Another thing that has been bothering me is not knowing what will happen when I die. I don't care how I die its just leaving my family that gets to me. I'm not sure I believe in God. I mean I was brought up to believe in God but I'm just not sure he exists. I mean is there any proof that everything said in the bible did happen? I guess I 'd rather believe in some kind of afterlife instead of none at all. That would really be depressing- knowing that if I die that's it I turn into dirt. But it also feels funny to belive in something that I don't think is really real either. What can I do ya know?
 
Wednesday-

Exercised for an hour w/ strength training

b: slice cheddar cheese
5 saltines
small apple
c. green tea

l- hard boiled egg and piece of toast w/ c. green tea

d: c.tuna
c. carrots
1 apple
1/2 c. vanilla ice cream
c. broccoli

I was supposed to see the trainer today but she never showed up!
 
Thursday-
Did one hour of pilates

b: bowl of yoda cereal

l: small smokey turkey sandwich with some barbecue chips and one oatmeal raisin cookie
w/ sweet tea

d: taco salad and slice of lemon meringue pie Yum!!

small snack size package of choco chip cookie

It was my day off the diet and boy was that food good!
 
Friday-
b: toast w/ tsp peanut butter and c. green tea

l: popcorn, peanut m&m's, and coke. We saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was really good!

d: chicken sandwich and an oreo shake

Did one hour of strength training/cardio

Saturday-

b: toast tsp peanut butter c. green tea

l: small turkey sandwich with chips and half an oatmeal cookie.
With sweet tea

d:
Had one piece of pizza-- it was huge! With 2 small pieces of cheese bread and sweet tea


You know...this diet is too hard to follow when I'm not at home. It works pretty well during the week but I'm usually out on the weekends.
 
Sunday-
chicken biscuit w/ orange juice

l- double cheeseburger, couple fries, and sweet tea

d- sandwich w/ 6 cookies and coke

no exercise
 
Monday-
exercised for an hour w/ a combo of strength training

b: toast w/ tsp peanut butter and green tea

l: chicken noodle soup w/ 5 saltines
and water
20 cookies :earseek:
2 handfuls of reece's peanut butter cereal-no milk :rolleyes:

d: pork tenderloin w/ corn and beans
w/ grape soda :rolleyes:

bottle of water before bed.
Geez,today I went crazy with food! I feel like I can't be happy w/o some real food. I'm sick and tired of the same diet foods! Will talk to my trainer about this tomorrow. Seriously considering joing weight watchers- at least then I could eat whatever I want and just count points.

You appear to be doing good!!!! Exercising is hard and staying on task is even harder. I know because I've gone off the wagon a few times. Keep it up and you'll see some real results.

Didn't get much exercise. Will make up for it on Saturday.

us to do 15 mins of ab work. Boy, that was a killer! :eek:
Tomorrow I'm going to stay on the diet and have Saturday off the diet. Can't wait for that!
