Anyone know how long it takes for a Kohl's payment to post to your credit account? Does the payment method, online, instore, phone, make a difference?

Forever!!!! I have paid online, via phone, and in store. I have had the funds taken out of my bank account on a Tuesday for a payment due that day but the payment wasn't posted to my account till Friday and I was assessed late fee and interest. I disputed and a couple months later all charges were credited back.
I have had similar problems over the years with Kohls. I always pay 3-5 days before due date and if funds are out of my back account, I dispute late fees. I tell them it's not a late payment but a late posting and beyond my control. They have the money from my bank on time, so should post the payment on time. They need to get their act together as this has been an aggravation over the years.

Wow, I've had a Kohl's charge for years and never had any experiences like you describe. I schedule online payments in advance, the payment shows as "success" that night and funds come out of our bank account the next day.

The only issue I've ever had were when I had a payment scheduled and then changed the bank account from which funds are pulled. I was able to then schedule future payments from the 'new' bank account but somehow the previously scheduled payment no longer showed under scheduled payments. Yet, that scheduled payment did still occur.
So now I know, if I ever need to change the checking account for Kohls payments, I first double check that there are no scheduled payments to end up in limbo.

How about a child’s book or toy? Those are usually cheap. If you don’t need it you could donate it at the holidays....so many organizations looking for donations of kids toys and books.

If you have a dog, or need a gift for a dog (or a donation to a shelter) the $5 "Kohls Cares" stuffies for children make wonderful stuffed animals for dogs, as well (and are better constructed than dog stuffies at a similar price). My dogs are getting a Grover and a Big Bird .

Real techniques make up sponge went in my cart. One is $6 (two are $11). I use these daily.

I think the Kohl's Cares books/stuffed animals are excluded from promotions. I haven't even been able to use Kohl's cash on them.

I was scoping out some big boys and little boys sweatpants and the prices have gone up significantly since I looked at them this weekend. Kind of discouraging. And makes planning much harder not knowing what the prices will actually be on Friday.

I can usually find Kohls brand (St. Nicholas Square?) Christmas ornaments for a few bucks. They have a lot of cute ones too!

In the past it was midnight ET, with sale price changes happening at about 1am ET if I remember right. Current coupon codes used to remain active until 3am ET (12am PT), giving you a sweet spot of about 3 hours to use both old and new coupons together - I don't know if that is still the case or not.

You know what - I may be off by an hour. Kohl's is in Central Time. The coupons may not start until 1am ET. (I'm on PT and usually hit the site at 10pm)
