Make sure you are using the codes in this thread, and not something else (sometimes they give you individual codes that are good for only one use).

Ugh, the Kohl's website is SOOOOOOO slow. I feel like I'm back to the days of dial-up internet. I placed two separate orders for Peppa Pig playsets for DD7. I'm trying to look at the Playmobil sets, but I'm getting frustrated with the website.

For anyone in the market, there are mail-in rebates on some of the CrockPots and Sonicare toothbrushes, which can be stacked with the current offers. Even thugh it's only $4'sish after the rebate, I'm trying to convince myself why I don't "need" a 5th crockpot, lol.

Sometimes I'm getting an "offer" for $5 Kohls cash if I do in-store pick up and sometimes I'm not (even if items are available for instore pickup). Anyone else getting this? It gave me all other discounts as well. Quite the deal!

That's something recent, that seems to be on the heavier items. I had one item I was thinking about a few weeks ago that I got it one day, but not the next. Weird.

Got several people's gifts taken care of with a socks/pajamas combo for a final cost of about $12 each.

The kitchen deals are not as good as I was hoping for -- it seems like not much is discounted to begin with. I'm looking for kitchen staples as well as nifty gadgets -- anyone find any really good deals?

I'm in, purchased: DD picked out underthings she was at 24.99 and added filler underarmour sweatshirt that will match the one getting BF for Christmas ( no discount got kohls cash) and she got 3 shirts in 3 separate orders. I am going to get her leg warmers, she says she is cold in her college room. EOS lip balm. Head massager thingy.
I told her to find something for her friends bday.
DS. DD is going to get him 2 graphic tshirts, for PJs and I got him pair of clearance shorts.
ME a coat, I also had $5 promotion and 2 gift cards for it . Disney charm. Filler wash cloth. 2 Disney hand towels, I'll give one to my mom. An infinity scarf for my winter coat, I think the price has increased from the store price I saw for it couple of weeks ago.
I'm trying to think of anything DD could use for college dorm next year. I got a hand towel as a filler so far. She says she is going to keep same color scheme.

Has anyone actually gone to a store today? I think I'm going to give it a go because I have a $5 off in store only to add to the deal and I want to try a few things on. I also have one order I need to pickup (for that bonus $5 Kohls Cash!) and I have a couple of returns from older orders to do. I'm just afraid it'll be a zoo.

So far I've gotten: 2 pairs of slacks (for me), 3 sweaters (me), 1 pair of pantihose (me - I don't normally wear them but want black ones for Christmas day), blanket (DD), set of sheets (DD), silicone cosmetic applicator (stocking stuff for DD), Essie nailpolish (stocking stuff for DD).

I was scoping out some big boys and little boys sweatpants and the prices have gone up significantly since I looked at them this weekend. Kind of discouraging. And makes planning much harder not knowing what the prices will actually be on Friday.

This isn't true. I've been offered the $5 in store pick up 4 times so far. I've already gone and picked up my orders and applied them to new orders online. Essentially rolling those $5 pick up KC.

Oh, that is good to know. I almost wonder if your situation is a 'glitch' by any chance. I read on the slickdeals main Kohl's thread that you would only get the $5 offer once and there is at least one long time Kohl's associate that posts frequently on there. I shop Kohl's a lot and I've also only been offered the $5 pickup once. Maybe they changed this recently for Christmas shopping?? I'd be good with that!

Does anyone get the cash back after placing a bunch of smaller orders? Is there a way to combine the receipts to get future cash back? I know you can do that instore - just not sure on line.

In my experience, they mail out coupons for either $5 or $10 off a $10 purchase. They're In Store Only and one time use coupons. I have friends and family members who save them every year for me because they refuse to shop in store during that weekend.

No, usually this is the best "combine the offers" sale with a 30% plus a $10 of $25. Black Friday is best prices with best Kohl's cash for shopping and little extra discounts (I think it tends to be a 20% offer plus you'll get $10 free Kohl's cash in the mail to spend that day...I think)...

Today's pretty much the day to buy the "mid-range" gift at Kohls...if you have expensive toys, jewelry, or electronics, you're better off waiting for Black Friday...but if most of your items tend to be between $15-$40 on sale, you can do really well on this sale, better than Black Friday...especially if you hate the worry and inconvenience of Kohls cash vs straight discount (especially for gift orders)...
