Hey all... I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was good, productive, uneventful, until last night...
I got a call from my sister around 1:30 am (please keep her in your prayers, she's going through a rough time right now) and then I was awake, upset for a while after that. Not too soon after I fell asleep, I got a call from Janine at 4am asking me to go to her house so her DH could drive up to Philly...she was going to have the baby!!!

So I drove to her house & stayed with her son (who was sleeping & didn't know anything was going on) until her sister came & relieved me in the 5 o'clock hour. Needless to say...it wasn't a great night's sleep for me.
Anyway....Janine gave birth to Skyelar at 6:03am. She weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces and is breathing beautifully on her own. Janine made it through the delivery with a few complications, but she's mending nicely and should be discharged sometime this week.

I'll keep you all posted on mommy & baby's progress. Thanks so much for the continued prayers and well wishes. I know they had a lot to do with Skyelar doing so well.
A few additional notes from me...
I've started the WW program today. My mom and sister joined last week, so I'm gonna follow along with them (without actually going). I've done WW before and I'm just ready for a change from the Nancy plan. I emailed Nancy last Thursday to let her know that I'm not going to be weighing in with her anymore...and haven't heard anything back. That's plain old rude, IMHO.

Anyway, I hope to log my points every day and my water intake.
Unfortunately I didn't get out for a run this weekend, but I noticed in my early, early morning travels this morning that it's getting lighter out!!! Maybe by next week I can start running before work again.

And one last thing, I'm gonna continue my walk/run challenge for April...and this time - I WILL MAKE IT!
WW points: 18/19
Water: 84 ounces
