Kim's new and improved life journal!

Very funny, Anna! Nah, you can KEEP the yucky weather! We ended up in the low 70's today!! :woohoo: Bummer was that I wasn't able to walk at lunch - had to work through. But I'll be walking again tomorrow!! :thumbsup2

Hope you all had a great day!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Hey, maybe I need to move to NJ. I want my weather back! We only made it into the 50's again yesterday. At least it is sunny and the wild winds stopped blowing. Sorry you didn't get a walk in today, but have fun tomorrow:cool1:

Hey all! Just went for a quick walk at lunch. Only did one lap around in 45 minutes. But we did ride it in the car afterwards & measured it's 1.5 miles. So that's cool! We normally do 2 laps (3 miles) but today's wind was a little too harsh for us. Yes, I said us. I just don't know how to say no when people want to walk with me. :sad2:

Janine is doing good. She's 30 weeks pregnant today! She had an ultrasound y'day and the baby is measuring 3 pounds 6 ounces! So that's wonderful!! They're saying that if she stays good for the next 2 weeks, she'll go home.

I think that's it for now. Have a great one!

Great job on getting your walk in Kim!:thumbsup2

That is good news about Janine!:goodvibes We will keep her in our thoughts and prayers.:grouphug:

Hope you have a great weekend!:cool1:

that will change soon--be excited!

have a great sunday!

Hey all... I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was good, productive, uneventful, until last night...

I got a call from my sister around 1:30 am (please keep her in your prayers, she's going through a rough time right now) and then I was awake, upset for a while after that. Not too soon after I fell asleep, I got a call from Janine at 4am asking me to go to her house so her DH could drive up to Philly...she was going to have the baby!!! So I drove to her house & stayed with her son (who was sleeping & didn't know anything was going on) until her sister came & relieved me in the 5 o'clock hour. Needless to say...it wasn't a great night's sleep for me.

Anyway....Janine gave birth to Skyelar at 6:03am. She weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces and is breathing beautifully on her own. Janine made it through the delivery with a few complications, but she's mending nicely and should be discharged sometime this week. :thumbsup2 I'll keep you all posted on mommy & baby's progress. Thanks so much for the continued prayers and well wishes. I know they had a lot to do with Skyelar doing so well.

A few additional notes from me...

I've started the WW program today. My mom and sister joined last week, so I'm gonna follow along with them (without actually going). I've done WW before and I'm just ready for a change from the Nancy plan. I emailed Nancy last Thursday to let her know that I'm not going to be weighing in with her anymore...and haven't heard anything back. That's plain old rude, IMHO. Anyway, I hope to log my points every day and my water intake.:thumbsup2

Unfortunately I didn't get out for a run this weekend, but I noticed in my early, early morning travels this morning that it's getting lighter out!!! Maybe by next week I can start running before work again. :woohoo: And one last thing, I'm gonna continue my walk/run challenge for April...and this time - I WILL MAKE IT!

WW points: 18/19
Water: 84 ounces

Congrats to Janine!! :yay:
:grouphug: to your sister.
:woohoo: on doing WW!
:sad2: on Nancy....(and yes, it was a very professionally written e-mail! :rolleyes1 )
pixiedust: for early morning :sunny:
:cheer2: Run Kimmy...RUN!!! :cheer2:

ok....I think I'm done with dorksville tonight! :rolleyes1

Hi Kim,

Congratulations go out to Janine and her DH on the birth of their baby girl!princess: We will keep all of them (and her big brother) in our thoughts and prayers.:grouphug:

Prayers also go out to your sister.....

I'm sorry that Nancy hasn't gotten back to you yet. Hopefully, you'll hear from her soon.

WW sounds like a great plan! I have several friends on it who have had great success. Plus, you'll have the support of your mom and sister and your WISH sisters of course!:cheer2:

Have a great week!:cool1:

Hey all...short post today.

Crazy busy day at work. Dsis still needs prayers, and I'll share more soon, I promise. :guilty:

WW went well today. So far, so good!

Congrats on WW...you will do great on it! I don't understand how it works, but it sounds good.

Work....yeah, you know my story....thanks for listening!

Howdy all. Gotta say, I'm looking to my 3 day weekend!! :thumbsup2 (I'm off on Friday :yay: )

Today's WW went well. Not sure exactly how to calculate my dinner points, but I'm gonna say I dipped into my flex points a tad bit. :headache:

WW points: 24/19 (used 5 out of 35 flex points for the week)
Water: 64 ounces (left work early & that's where I seem to do my best water chuggin')

Tonight it's safe to tell you a little about what's going on with my older sister. She's in a really bad place (mentally and physically) and checked herself into rehab last night. I'm very proud of her for taking that step, and just hope and pray that she'll stay as long as she should and that she realizes how valuable she is to herself, our family and her friends. Thanks so much for the well wishes when I had to be vague. I love you guys!

HI Kim
Hope your Dsis is ok, thats a very brave thing for her to do & a step in the right direction, hope all works out

Thank you SO much for all of the well wishes and prayers for my sister. Like I said, I hope she realizes how much she needs this and actually wants it at this point. :guilty:

Today went well. Crazy busy again at work, but I got through it by knowing I'm off tomorrow! :cool1: After work I had a lovely gyn visit and then spent a few hours at Chuck E Cheese for a bday party. :scared1:

Stayed on points, even with having some CEC pizza.

WW points: 19/19
water: 84 ounces

Have a WONDERFUL weekend and Happy Easter!

Yeah for sticking to points! And I'm glad things seem to be on track with your sister. It's never easy to try and support someone through recovery.

Sorry I've been MIA, new job+laziness=bad bad bekki
