After going to Disneyworld since it opened, this is our first tour (we've sent the kids on them..but this is just us!)
We meet inside the Kingdom on the lft neat Town Hall, and it's a 4.5 hour tour. Price had gone up some ($58 instead of $45), from what it said on one of the sites, and the 20% Amex discount is no longer valid..we used DC instead.

Our lunch is at Harbour House, included..is that choice of menu, or a set lunch? Is the lunch the end of the tour?

Is it mostly inside, or outside? Anything we should know?

Thanks!

On the Keys tour you get to pick your lunch from the menu at the beginning of the tour.
I believe you have a choice of either a chicken strip basket or a fish basket and chowder or veggie chili. Plus a drink.
They have everything already set up for you when you get there.
You also get a 15 minute bathroom break in addition to the lunch break.
The tour is both indoors and outdoors. The portion in the tunnels and backstage on some of the attractions (we did POTC, HM and TTA) are mostly indoors. But then there are other sections outside like the parade floats and the part on main street.
It is a quickly moving tour so you will need to keep up. Wear your walking shoes!!
It was a very good tour. I think you will enjoy it!!:p

Thanks..good to know in advance I have to know what I want to eat LOL.
The tous sounds great. I know our kids have always loved theirs..although these weren't the tours they took.

We took the Keys tour last Monday. Ours lasted 5 hrs. 15 min. Lots of it was very interesting, some of it was not. The lunch break comes about 1/2 way through. I'm fussy about food & the lunch was very nice. We had a tuna sandwich & a garlicy hummus sandwich, which we traded halfs of. It also came with choice of drinks & a bag of chips. Plenty of food.
I almost wish I hadn't seen the tunnels. It takes away some of the magic. The tunnels are pretty ugly & not very interesting.
Be sure to think of lots of questions to ask.
No pictures or video in the backstage areas.
We're glad we took the tour, but would not do it again. There were people there who were taking it for the second time though.
It's cool to see the floats up close & learn about them & then to see the parade.
I hope you enjoy your tour.

I took the tour back in May, and it was okay. But it does have a lot of walking and standing. We did alot of standing in the utilidors while we listened to the tour guide, and I remember my feet absolutely aching, and me wishing the tour would end so I could sit!! :( And the tour I went on concentrated too much on hidden Mickeys, which don't really interest me.

But I have no regrets about taking the tour - just be prepared to STAND in place for good lengths of time!
