"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

I am hoping for an August party. The DVC MC is from August 2-7. I’m hoping to stay in FL afterwards if there’s a party not too long after. It would save us having to buy airfare again.

I'm thinking the first party is going to be Friday August 8th and I really hope so because we head off on the Treasure August 9-16. Would be so cool to hit the party night before we leave!

We're hoping for that date, too! I know it seems a little ridiculous to celebrate Halloween that early, but we totally would!

We have been to about 7-8 in October and went in August 2 years ago. It's my absolute favorite Disney event! August it's just so hot. October we always wore costumes. August we had matching t shirts

Agreed, August is too hot! But despite the complaints about Halloween starting so early I like that they offer the party that early so that more families can enjoy it. Not everyone can go in October.

My favorite part is the Sanderson Sisters' stage show in front of the castle, we usually see that twice.

We'll be there in October 5-12, and planning on attending a party while there, but trying to decide when on our trip we will want to go. Do you all have a preference between doing the party at the beginning, middle or end of your trip? I'm thinking it would be nice to have a park day, followed by a party day, then followed by a resort day, just not sure where on our trip to put it. Thank you!

We do closer to the beginning. We are less tired, still have a lot of enthusiasm and the "our trip is almost over blues" haven't set in!

That makes a lot of sense! I've been to the party once before, but it will be the first time for the other 5 people in my group. They'll probably have a much better experience if we do it at the beginning of the trip when they have more energy. Thank you!

I like going towards the beginning when I still have energy, lol. I usually start my trips on a Sunday then do the party on a Tuesday and then Wednesday is for sleeping in, pool day and just relaxing. But I’ve also done Thursday and this gives me something to look forward later in the week. But I prefer going earlier in my trip.

We have only once, last year, and did our party mid way through the trip. We stayed for the whole party and slept in the next day before heading to the parks for a slower paced park day. Will do the same this year.

Well, half way to Halloween is the end of next week so I'm hoping that we will get some info then. Can't wait for our party!

That's normally the way they do it. The announcement about the dates is normally made approx. a week before tickets go on sale. In 2024 the official party announcement was made May 6, 2024. Tickets went on sale for Disney resort guests on May 8, 2024 and for all guests on May 15, 2024.

This is how it was in 2024. There is no guarantee it will be the same in 2025 but, there will be time (days, a week?) between the announcement and tickets going on sale.

That being said, it's likely dates will be on similar days of the week to previous years and that the announcement will be made within the next 2-3 weeks. A lot of planning and prep can be done now.

What are the chances of a Nov 1 st party ?

None. Nov. 1 is a Saturday. There won’t be a party. Oct 31 is Friday. That will be the last party.
There are never any party’s on Saturdays. Saturday!s are too busy to close early for an event.

I’m honestly not sure where you’re seeing I posted 2025 dates? We don’t know at this time what the 2025 dates will be or when they will be announced.

All of the dates in the post you quoted me saying were historical dates from 2024.
