Hello, my family and I were there Dec 15- today. I just wanted to say I had NO issues with my Magic Bands, neither did anyone in my family. They were very convenient. FP+ was great and super useful. I purchased tickets from Expedia so I received actual park cards. Pulled maybe 3 fast passes the whole trip though... Didnt really need to. (FP+ helped, did rope drops, low crowds) i didn't even follow crowd calendars, we just did what we wanted when we wanted. No I don't think Glow to the Show ears ruined anything.. They were fun to watch. I thought the crowds were pretty low.. Never waited for ANYTHING more than 15 minutes thanks to FP+ and rope drop (Made FP+ before tiering). I changed a few FP+ right up till the time with the MDE app and it worked flawlessly, no "blips". Stayed at All Star sports, requested top floor of 10 at arrival, got it no problem, and it also had a new fridge. The new food court was super nice! A lot of choices Bus system was great. Had dinner at BOG twice, got chicken the first them, then steak. No complaints there. Did MVMCP on the 17th.. It was a bit crowded on Main st (just avoided it) wait times were low so I barely even noticed other people. Overall our trip was excellent, and absolutely no complaints. I was worried before the trip because of MB and FP+ but my advice to you is DONT. Don't stress because its DISNEY WORLD, you'll have a great trip everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful time. Ready to plan next years trip

Same for us! We were there the 15-20 and had no issue with the Magic Band either. We bought the military tickets Sunday night and linked them to our Bands and set up Fast Pass Plus that night with no problems. One afternoon my mom's band didn't work at the park so they reset it in about 2 minutes with no problem. Thursday afternoon we couldn't get in our room and there was a crazy mix up that took 30-40 minutes to fix so we could get back in our room. It was a major hassle, but it wasn't really a magic band issue just a computer glitch.
Went to the party Thursday night and thought the crowds were low. Had pretty low crowds all week. We went to the MK Monday evening and even with EMH hours from 11-1 the park was pretty much dead. We walked on pretty much everything from 9-11:30 when we decided that we were tired and left.
We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani and only used the buses twice but we were super lucky both times and buses showed up as soon as we got there!

I would also like to add I wore a "happy birthday" button on my birthday and probably 100 cast members wished me a happy birthday throughout the day! Three of them even shouted "happy birthday" in the middle of the christmas parade! Also, earlier in the day at Hollywood Studios, i was at Anaheim Produce buying a frozen lemonade and the cast member behind the counter asked if i liked soft pretzels and I said yes, he then handed me 2 pretzels (one for me and my boyfriend) free of charge, without me even asking! And my mom and dad were in line behind us (cast member knew we were together) and they only ordered one frozen lemonade and the cast member gave them another one for free so they didn't have to share! He wished me a happy birthday when we left! Some awesome birthday pixie dust!
