June/July/August 2006 Code watch

the Sunday speculation came about from reports from 2 different posters that CMs have a heavier-than-normal work schedule next week beginning Sunday ........... then came the speculation of WHY CMs would be schedule to work more hours ...........

I'm here, too...I checked in earlier this a.m. and there were NO morning posts, so I hopped in the shower before posting. I also checked all sites and found no updates.
I'm not very optimistic for this week, but that's mostly because we purchased our airline tix (for way more than usual pp) and we're locked into our dates now. No availability at POR or CS during our travel dates and DH and DS don't want to stay at CBR or a Value. Grrrrrrr.
AAA rates are great but if there aren't any AP codes this summer, I'm still hoping some people will cancel their deluxe ressies and downgrade, thereby opening up more of the less expensive view rooms at WL and AKL so I can switch our rooms.
Trying to think happy thoughts for news - one way or the other - soon!

I do remember florida residents once being the same day as ap rates. The phone lines where unbeliveable. Don't think I got through till 10am, and constantly trying.

The sunday rumor came from 2 different sources: 1. and cm from g.g. told someone "they would be happy on sunday". And the 2nd. > a friend of a cm, said they have "heavy" schedules starting sunday and all week.

maybe they were put on alert to ignore us

Thanks for checking. Got to the phone/computer a little late this morning so I didn't call. Have a great day everyone!

Chatty cm said: " they have not been told one way or the other". They are also waiting, and don't know what is going to happen. Sounds like they ask frequently too.

Thanks to all who have called. To all who are grandmothers, mothers, godmothers & aunts....Have a WONDERFUL Mothers Day Weekend !!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the daily reports! What will I do when I don't have this thread to get me up in the mornings? I guess I'll have to go back to the alarm clock to wake me!

As for deals coming out in print, let me say that I've seen AP, Fl. Res. discounts, general codes and special deals advertised in the Sunday papers before. For those who think they want to read a local Fl. papers travel section on Sunday, just read one online like the Orlando Sentinel. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/

Still keeping my fingers crossed! :wizard:
