June 1st - Magic

Yes, we are on it myself, DH, DD-13, DD-10. There is a previous thread started for this but not many postings. Maybe it is a pretty empty ship as it is probably the end of the school year for many. My children will have been out of school a week. We can't wait for our first cruise! Have not yet received docs, have you?

My family is also on the June 1st trip. Myself, DH and DD (5). We received our docs about a week ago. We are from Kingwood just outside of Houston. Where are you from TXShelly?

My family (myself and wife) san's kids (1 cat, 1 dog) are doing this cruise :)

We are counting down the days.

We'll be there! DH, DS(10), DD(7) and neighbors! We haven't recieved our documents yet! We can't wait! It is our second cruise with Disney!

We'll be there too, DH, DS(12) and DD(7). Got our documents, and can't wait!! This is our very first cruise, so these boards have been VERY informative!!:Pinkbounc

Hi PamelaJean,

My son is also 10, his name is Michael and maybe our boys will meet. No documents yet either, we went through a TA so I guess it will take a little longer!

MWilson--We are in Katy Texas as is TZS and family who will be cruising with us and her DH, DD (12), DD (almost 10).

Does anyone that is going on this cruise have a son. Mine is 7 and I'm hoping he gets to meet someone before he goes. I can't wait. Also does anyone know how the soda package works? I meant to call DCL but forgot today at work.

We will also be on board!!! We are myself, DH, DS12, DD9 and DD4(almost 5) We were just on Wonder in April and already can not wait to go in June. So glad to see that it is only 30 days. The soda program, you buy a mug, (not sure of the $$ on the 7day) and the kids have to carry it around the whole time. You can also purchase a strap to carry it around the neck. When we were on Wonder we bought only 1 and the kids used it whenever they were able. (They don't really like them to take them into the programs) so 1 actually worked really well for us. Any other questions? Maybe I can help.
joyceharris - I never did receive your message... Maybe we will meet up sometime.

We got our tickets through AAA travel, they're having a special where you get the mugs with your cruise. (I think they're $35 each for 7 days.) Something about 100th anniversary, I read about it in AAA magazine, TA didn't know, so when I told her she made sure it was in my travel arrangements in case we didn't get them. After looking in my package (so exciting!), found a coupon good for the 4 mugs.:D

disneylover4ever - If your DS-12 would like to e-mail my DS-12 (he actually turns 12 in 3 weeks, going into 7th grade), let me know. He does IM chats with his buddies - can send you the details - lbladd@att.net
:)

Is the mug for the adults too? or just the kids? If it's for the adults, do you take it to dinner? Is that how it works? If not how does it work exactly....And it gets refill for you during all the cruise? Sorry, to many questions - but my DH only brings SODA. I am the WINEO!!! *Smile*
:earsboy:

AAA provides 1 mug per person in a cabin. Not sure if you bring to dinner. I think I read somewhere that soda is provided at dinner. (Anyone that knows, please help.) We've never been on a Disney Cruise, so still learning from this website.
May be another thread out there that talks about the mugs.
Too bad that don't sell a refillable wine glass!!:p

You are not required to carry the soda mugs to dinner. Soda will be provided at dinner at no additional cost. The soda mugs do, however, have to be carried everywhere else. Yes adults, children everyone uses the same type mug,(thats how we share)
Even bring it off the ship at Castaway Cay and when you are sitting on the beach, you show it and they will bring you a can of soda, or you can walk to the bar area and have it filled. That was a great deal getting 4 mugs with your ressies. You will definately use them.

Hey you all.............We received our documents yesterday. Wow, it's almost here.

:earsgirl:

We got our documents about 10 days ago... guess we got them early because we booked directly with DCL.
It will be my DH, myself, DS (14) DS (8) and DD (just 6). We all canot wait... I think t is going to be a full ship. I checked w/DCL about 2 months ago and 11 and 6's were sold out. This cruise was a FL resident special-so I'm sure it's pretty full.
