Why aren't you saying something now? Jon's bodyguard has been in all the pictures, and I haven't read a thing. Let's be fair and balanced, people.

I don't get your point. Do you mean we should be critical of Jon's bodyguard? It didn't bother me that Kate has bodyguards.

My point was that Jon obviously played a part in the process. Although reading my sentence again about his sperm just looks plain strange!

Seriously, I was 23 when DD18 was born...it's not that young to have kids.

I was 21 when I had DS 19.

Jon & Kate had been married a little while before having children. If age was such a concern, Jon should have spoke up then.

DH and I were 23 when we married (been married now for 12 years) and had our first baby girl when I was 26. I agree with you Madge, if Jon was so hesitant he should've been more firm with Kate. I don't know how he can regret having all of them when you look at all their sweet little faces though. Actually regret is probably the wrong word, maybe although I'm not sure what word I want to use!

He says he is her hookup friend. Do we have proof of that? Also the girl was arrested in 2005. She was a child doing what a lot of kids are doing and she got caught. I am not saying it is right but she was 18 years old. From what I hear on the news and from teachers,18 year old kids are doing a lot more then that. Who is to say it was not her first time trying it and she got caught. I love how people are looking down their nose at this girl. Those who were perfect in their teens and early 20's can throw the stones.

The average teen / 20 something has not been arrested with hash, hash oil, marijuiana twice! I think this is more than a wild child. I have to wonder what her parents have to say about this. LOL.

Well, the good doctor probably thinks all the good PR he got for doing Kate's tummy tuck has been completely used up. Until now, his daughter's exploits were probably unknown to his patients.

I just can't imagine a scenario of how the 2 hooked up: Did Hailey call Jon and say "I hear you're sleeping around on your wife and I'm available -- let's get together" or did Jon call Hailey and say "I met you when your father did my wife's tummy tuck 2 years ago - now that you're legal drinking age do you want to hang out?"

The point is, if Jon met Hailey through the tummy tuck episode, she would have been about 20 then, or less.

Well, you remember they took Kate home with them after Jon had to leave town. I am not sure if Kate remained freindly with them over the years or not but I think they probably had a close relationship in the beginning of "after the surgery". So, who knows, Jon maybe kept up the family friendship also and it came to this.

Rememebr during the pics of him with Deanna there was a photo of him in NYC (or someplace) with 2 young women. Then we learned one of the woman was Hailey glassman and the other might have been her mom. It was an outside shot and I believe that were shopping.

IIRC, the wife promised that she and Kate would be getting together for a girl's weekend/week every year .. and that was the last we heard of that. LOL

OH NO Sounds like it's on, because it was the "rep" that had been saying it was off.

I've definitely stopped pining over that Ed Hardy hoodie I wanted, now that I'm seeing images of The Eight decked out in skulls.

Whether he wanted to sabotage his marriage and the show or not, I would say there is no turning back now. He's done more in the last 3 weeks to make TLC cancel the contract -- I just have to believe that he knew how this would be seen, probably even tipping off the paparazzi (why else would they look for him in St. Tropez) -- he must really have hated doing the show. Such a guy-move. I'd say he's pretty angry about something, whether or not it's justified (it usually isn't)

Rumors about Kate surfaced simply because she was photographed with her bodyguard in tow. So.....

After watching the GMA clip, (and off topic from where we are nowadays) and the part where they showed where Jon parked while he brought the kids into the restaurant..I looked at it over and over, and I don't see where he parked in a handicap spot. The area next to the van was stripped, but I assume that was so people wouldn't park there, at the very entrance to the restaurant. Was there a sign tht others saw, that I didn't? I couldn't find any indication that he parked in a spot he shouldn't have.

I can't believe Jon gave this interview to the magazine. I would think the 45 days of not talking to Kate would have included not giving interviews. I assume Kate will follow it up with a 'how is she doing' interview now. She is definatley (IMO) starting to look like the more mature person. I hope she is careful what she is saying and doing for awhile, and thinks about what the kids will see and hear. I don't care how long they were 'really' separated, I think Jon should have thought how this would look like to the kids.

So during this 45 day period where Jon says he and Kate are not supposed to comment about each other he takes a girlfriend off on a trip and does an interview about "moving forward" . If I was Kate I wouldn't give an interviews to anyone and proceed with the divorce. If the show has to go on because of ocntract issues I would have it be Kate plus 8 and not have Jon on at all. Let him get his money from this new deal.

ITA! I thought he kind of threw that out there like he was saying he is going to leave no stone unturned once the 45 days were up.

I think Kate has seen the beauty of taking the moral high ground. I hope she continues to take this approach. I think his actions are speaking for themselves! I hate to man-bash but really she goes on vacation to the beach with the kids (yes, I know it was being filmed but really filming was pretty limited) and he jumps off to Europe with a 22-year-old. Did you guys catch the shorts she had on?? And, he was smoking--give me a break!

Also, one more rant--I totally understand the pressure they both felt when they had the six. I used to come close to a panic attack when I was pregnant with my twins. The questions would just leap in my mind from out of nowhere--what if something happened to my husband? What if our health insurance changes? What if something happens to me? And the I felt a little trapped and hemmed in at first. But life is about how you deal with things and I think Jon is dealing with it very poorly.

What a jerk! Well, I'd prefer to call him a three letter word that starts with an 'a' and ends in an 's'! Kate is definitely looking better and better because of Jon's dumb moves lately!

Seeing those pictures has got to hurt Kate. And my heart breaks for the kids, who are caught up in this mess. Jon make think that the show has damaged the family, but his actions are far more damaging, in my opinion.

Really, this show needs to be cancelled now. But I'm sure Kate will fight tooth and nail to keep it going. For one reason, it's the family's source of income. For another reason, she will do it in spite of Jon.

For the sake of the kids, I hope that Kate spends more time with the family. It looks like she is the only stable adult right now.
