Can confirm they have split corrals for D and E and are using a password to re-enter if you exit to use the portas (or any other reason.) They started diverting to D2 at around 4:30-4:40 on the morning of the HM

Paging @PrincessV our resident forecast expert (I hope you don’t mind the title ). How much hope should I keep that maybe just maybe this cold front shows up about 24hrs earlier than they’re forecasting?

I was already so hot today, I’m not looking forward to running even longer in the heat.

I’m very sorry - not much hope. I wouldn’t rule out a slight dip in temps, and you might get a helpful breeze on Western Way if the front starts making its way in, but it looks like it’ll stay pretty darned warm through the marathon. Feel like I should offer a personal apology, because I’m no longer able to make it to WDW to spectate and if I were there, it would almost certainly be freezing lol!

Sipping coffee 100 miles away and reading that WDW closed part of NB World Dr early, causing a massive traffic jam before the start as multiple lanes of traffic had to divert onto Osceola to get around it and back onto World Dr. You’d think WDW had never before run this event…

I got there early enough so I wasn’t caught in it. But they definitely closed it early. I had to detour onto the Buena Vista Drive exit around 3:30 and go straight on toward Epcot.

It’s going to be super timing dependent but looks like us slow runners in D-G might get a breeze and some drier air at around 20 mi which is so welcome
