Jetblue Frustration

Pixie.. 240 A Person!!! ( RT i Hope... ) JB Usually starts at 114 one way.. If you have been looking at the past and present schedule..

114 is what it is now, i am sure it will be the same if not lower..

Bri

RT??? English please :confused3
The $240 was after all of the ridiculous taxes.Which Was $13.81 US Tax and $42 taxes & fees

With those fees on JB I would have paid $283/person...So I think I got a pretty good deal...I feel like I'm cheating by going to Delta...but it was a good price & I couldn't pass it up.

I know there is some talk about Delta changing times and blah blah blah...but we leave at 610am to get there and then leave MCO to get home at 7pm...So, I don't think there will be too much change...unless the weather keeps us in FL!!!

I suspect "RT" is "round-trip".

With regard to changing times, the 6:10 AM flight to Orlando is probably among flights most likely to be canceled (unless you're flying down on Monday). Worst case is that that could leave you being put into an afternoon or evening flight down to Orlando. The 7:00 PM flight home is probably safer, but anything could happen. I just want to be sure that you understand what people are saying when they warn you about "changing times" -- it has nothing to do with the flights you have booked -- it has to do with the fact that flight times are not part of what you're purchasing: You can be switched a completely different time of day, very readily.

I've always flown Delta - Boston to Orlando; and have never known them to cancel the first flight out in the a.m. They seem to typically start with three schedulled flights going to Orlando: early morning, late morning (@noon-sih), and late afternoon. The past two years, as the date gets closer, they've cancelled the late morning flight (I know because that has been my flight the past two years). This year, I've booked the 7am flight out for a trip in Nov. and they have, so far, just moved the departure time back and forth by a few minutes.

BriBri - Where are you getting that $114 each way price? Are you quoting the price for flights in Jan.? I'm still waiting for the Feb. fares.

Read this forum's archive. I'm pretty sure there have been a few messages from folks so affected. Regardless, all bets are off; every flight is a risk these days.

Yes From Janurary and before.

But if you look at our Current Schedule 114 is the lowest thruout all the months.

Easy Comparison, can not predict the future, but at least you have a good idea it will be within a few dollars, plus or minus ( hopefulle minus ) a few dollars.

RT yes = Round Trip..

I guess we will wait and see. We've flown this flight before and never had a problem...Yes, the fare I got was round trip

Yup, price was round trip....I think I did pretty well.

Just got an email. JetBlue will extend their schedule this Friday! The schedule will be extended to April 30th.

That's great we got a heads up from JB.

We also get a few days off!!! ;)

....now does anyone have a clue what time of day they will release the schedule????

Thanks for the update. I've been checking everyday - waiting for those Feb.fares!

I got the E-mail also and it says it is being opened up Friday for Trueblue members only. Hopefully it will open up for everyone shortly after that.

SORRY!!!!!!!! Please disregard this, I just went back and reread my e-mail. It was just a HEADS-UP for truebleue members. It WILL be opening up for everyone this coming Friday.

Yea!!! I guess I'll be booking my February return flight on Friday. I was starting to get a little bit nervous.

Ok, so now we know that Feb. fares will be posted on Friday.

Is it recommended to book first thing in the morning to get the best prices - do I need to stay up to 12:01am? Or do the prices stay the same for a little while?

will this be extended to all airports or just certain ones...like JFk or will it also include newark airport

I was able to get decent fare, I guess. $129 each way, NS. With taxes I am paying $279, rt, a piece. The good thing was I had a $120 credit (which I had forgotten about, lol), so I ended up paying $717 rt, or $239/pp, for the three of us.

Gotta love the credit! I have like $15 for the TV's going out on my last flight-which I don't even remember!!! :rotfl:
No worries JB-I'll be back!
