Jerod & Rebecca's Fairytale Wisconsin Wedding 9/22/12

Love the shoes! And those plates you found are beautiful, perfect for a fall wedding - and a great bargain, too!

Thanks I have been scouring the internet for blue flats. As you can see I am a lot taller than DF. Normally it really doesn't bother us but DF asked if I would wear flats and I am ok with that. i normally wear flats anyway. So I was going through my old bridal magazine just making sure that there wasn't anything I needed in them and then I saw them. I was pretty excited!!

Thanks so much. I need to catch up on your PJ but from what I read your wedding is going to be pretty spectacular.

Please bare with me I don't know how to quote more than one person in a quote so I have to do it separately. If anyone can let me know how to do it it would be much appreciated!!

See the two little quotes next to where you click quote? Just click those on the ones that you want to multi quote :) And then on the last one to quote, click quote. All of them should show up for you to type under...

Hi fellow Wisconsin-er! Just realized you had a PJ... love it so far! I love fall and your centerpieces/theme are awesome. And those chargers fit PERFECTLY and that is such a kick-butt price!

Hey... I love the chargers and was so excited about the price. It goes to show you just never know what you are going to find at the store on clearance!!

Wow! I would have never thought of green and orange together like that. It looks gorgeous!

DF was skeptical at first but once I showed he was like "I guess that's cool." What a total boy!!!

Those shoes are beautiful. I think I have some decisions to make. Thanks so much for the link!!!

Nothing to update that I can show in pictures but we are booking our DJ, makeup artist, and wedding transportation this week.

I really like the DJ we chose as he can download songs right at the venue if a guest requests it and he doesn't have the song. That was the major thing that swayed us to him.

The make up artist is fantastic and very reasonable. She will come to my house the day of the wedding and will do all 11 people.

We are not getting the traditional limo for our wedding we are getting a mini shuttle bus or as we like to call it the party bus.

I am so excited to have these things checked off the list. But as DF says "now we have to pay for it." Well DUH!!!

Hope everyone had a fantastic Valentine's Day. DF got me the David Tutera ring bearer pillow. I will definitely posts pics when I get it!!!

Congrats on getting some of the things crossed off of your list - it sounds like you have been very productive!

What a nice present from your DF for valentines day as well - lucky girl!:goodvibes

So I need some opinions from you fine disbrides!!! We are the store the other day and they had some invitations clearance 50 invites for $10. DF insisted that we had to get them because they were such a bargain. They aren't bad they do match our color scheme they are ivory and sage but they are the type that you have to print yourself. I have always dreamed of having Cinderella invites but they would be like $300. Here are some pics:

What do you all think? Am I just being stupid about it? Do they look nice? Thanks for any feedback!!!

I like them! Depending on your budget, this could be a way to have cut costs and put them into something you'd enjoy doing on your honeymoon. If that's the case, I'd say keep them! If cost is no problem, then I'd say get what you originally wanted :)

Those are great!

Really cute!

I was in a similar situation - I fell in love with these invites that would have been about $1,500 for 100 :scared1: I ended up finding some on clearance at Michael's for $15 for 100.

My mom pointed out, that although I was obsessing over them, essentially they would be trash for most people within 6 months. I know that sounds rude - but it's true.

If you're not super thrilled with them (but IMO they're really pretty!) you could jazz them up cheaply.

We took some vellum and folded it over our invites to make them seem less "print your own" and honestly - a year later, I had to go back to my online album to remember what they looked like.

Those look Cinderella-y to begin with and you could easily add your own Cinderella-ness for WAY less than $300.

Like what about a vellum sheet with a printed Cinderella carriage emblem on it and hole punching the invites and fastening it with a ribbon?

Or even just printing a Cinderella Emblem on the envelope.

But then again, I like them by themselves too. Wow. That was a whole lot of nothing.:goodvibes

Then I came out in "THE DRESS"
100_0113.jpg

I love this dress!! It has everything that I wanted. The pullups and the beading on the bodice as well as the corset back. When I came out my mom and aunt started to cry and my cousin just kept saying "That's it. That's the one!!"

Is the sapphire collection one? If so, we are dress twins! And I also have a 5month old puppy named Bella! (she's a yorkie though)

I think they're really pretty! And I agree with the above poster - you could add Cinderella elements to it, either by printing perhaps the carriage on the top or adding some sort of charm or attachment.
