Afternoon Snowbirds!
I was one of those silly people out this morning at 5am- crazy I know but I got my dual screen DVD player for the LOOONG car ride to WDW- it will definitely be a big help with two kids in the car! Only $88 at Target this morning instead of $160! I also got the huge 2' plush Minnie and Mickey dolls from
Walmart for $10!!! From there I hit Old Navy and got some jeans for only $15! All that and I was back home by 10:15! On a side note- I was not a grumpy shopper at all but I did see some people that were definitely NOT in the holiday spirit! One guy that worked at Old navy was THE nicest person and in such a friendly and helpful mood. I made sure to tell the manager how impressed I was with his customer service especially on such a stressful day.
Monday is December 1st and we'll all be able to say we are going to Disney NEXT month!
I got the update from stitchkingdom.com today. The Studio Backlot Tour will be closed 1/4/09 through to 2/28/09. Bummer!
Oh C'mon Disney!
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm trying to decide whether or not to head to the
Disney store in an hour.
So did you go? Any good deals?
Could I please ask nicely for Monny2AE to post the recipe for the cranberry pumpkin bread?

I have never heard of it before but I would love to try it. It sounds very yummy!
Here you go...it turned out DELICIOUS!!!!!
ORANGE PUMPKIN CRANBERRY BREAD

* 5 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
* 2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 2 cups granulated sugar
* 1 cup light brown sugar
* 1 (15 ounce) can 100% Pure Pumpkin
* 4 eggs
* 3/4 cup vegetable oil
* 3/4 cup orange juice
* 2 cups Craisins
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
2. Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Combine sugar, pumpkin, eggs, vegetable oil and orange juice in large mixer bowl; beat until just blended. Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Fold in cranberries. Spoon batter into prepared loaf pans.
3. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
I'm off to actually get some stuff done around here before my wonderful husband comes home and I break the news about going over the "budget" I was supposed to keep while shopping this morning.
