11 more days for me and DS12 ............this will be our first time at a deluxe & at AKL I'm so excited .
For all you expert's about AKL can anyone tell me what I shouldn't miss. Thanks for the info

I want to make sure that my son doesn't miss anything special. I really don't know when we can get back to WDW after this trip. I really want to make it special for him......thanks for any info you can share

A co-worker is leaving for AKL tomorrow, and he's concerned whether he can print his southwest pass for his return trip at AKL. I said I'd ask online, since I've never done it.

Is it possible, and how could he go about it? (He's not using DME, if that makes any difference.)

....I suppose that he can call AKL directly and ask if it would be possible to print out the tix....personally, I've just done it for the OUTGOING FLIGHT and print the return flight when I arrive at the airport....this way, I don't have to worry about ONE MORE THING THAT I CAN POSSIBLY LOSE......

Be sure & check the activities board. My DS8 loved doing these activities--he played Bongo for a bead, did animal tracking for a bead, night vision, storytelling, parade, and there were a lot of other things that we didn't have time to do.

we made our final payment today!

We were at AKL in October 2006. We were to go back this past month but DH got transferred over the summer so we had to cancel our trip. I quit coming to the boards I was so depressed. If we had gone we would have gotten home yesterday.

We started talking yesterday about going back and with money I said we could stay at a moderate. DH said he didn't think I could be happy anywhere but AKL. So when our tax return comes thru I am to book 10 days at AKL from Jan 2, 2009-Jan 12, 2009. It seems a long way off but I have to get back into the swing of Disboards and catch up so it will make time go faster.

I know there are no longer deluxe rooms and the DP has changed - what else should I be aware of?
