Sorry, but the Red Wings are on top and that's where they will stay. I think they have a great chance at the Cup.

Not if they continue to play like they did last night. Legace giving up 3 goals out of 10 shots.  I do have to continue to root for our Red Wings, but I enjoy watching Nashville! They are a young team, and they are hungry for the Cup. Also........my son's school principal is the mom of Adam Hall!!!

I agree too that booing national anthems is bad. We Canadians are very ashamed when that happens and can only apologize for those boors who do it!

I agree about the national anthems that is disrespectful no matter what anthem is being played. As for the Wings I think they are in trouble I know Jason Williams who plays for the wings and he said they are still in it but the look on his face was a little dishartening my wife is a huge redwings fan poor girl hehehe.

My son is a 9 year old goalie who is the world's biggest Red Wing fan - Steve Yzerman is god-like in his world...

His comment on last night's game "Its ok Mom, I think they still had fun."

Sigh. (This is the same kid who proclaimed after one of his games "If it weren't for those 6 goals, I would of had a shut-out!!)

A goalie man a kid after my own heart I played goal my entire career untill I was 16 that is then I blew out my left knee in a game playing junior. He looks at it in a way I never could even in the league I play in now I play to win I hate to lose and it is almost to a fault I always played competative hockey up to Junior B. I still can't stand to lose I guess it is something that never goes away once you have it.

two4ruff,
What a great outlook for your son to have! So there's hope for kids' hockey yet, where they aren't only concerned about winning and losing!!!!! That gives me great hope!

Too fun!! I too am a goalie mom (of a 12 year old)!! His team made it to their Championship game!! Those kids played their hearts out!! They had a double overtime, which then went to a shoot-out, which then went to a sudden death shoot out! They ended up losing........but I think that game will stick with them forever! They were the first ever shoot out game in the Championship games!!!

A shoot out! Every goalie mom's nightmare!

I think his coach's wish he was a little more "concerned" about the outcome of the game, but sometimes he's more interested in holding a pose or waving to Grandma!:wave2:

Your son will be a very happy person in life!!! And that's saying something these days! He sounds like a great kid!
