Ok - all you northerners and people to the "right" never give the left coast teams any respect. You may have invented and grew up with the game, but the rst of us are catching on nand perfecting the game.

I read every page of postings and not one time did anyone mention the #2 seed in the West. You all dismiss the West as if they don't even count. Well I am here to make some noise.

Can't afford to wager because all my money's going to my Disney vacation (3 days WDW, 7 day Disney cruise!) in October! And only $700 for a pair of reds???? I think I mentioned in a prior post that my DH had to turn down a pair of free platinum tickets tbecause my son's band concert is the same night!!! Sometimes it's tough being a parent!

We'll see what happens tonight!!!

Ok how about 1000 for a pair of reds is that better? San Jose well they are good but come on not that good look at the totals for the West coast teams even a team from the East that missed the playoffs would have made it in the west. J/K with ya the Sharks have as good a chance as anyone out of the west it should be a good playoff season for everyone.

I wasn't sleep from the Bruins loss, Scott. I was sleepy from watching the Canucks win!

Oh, and the Habs aren't going to tie up the series. The Bruins will come home to Boston with a 3-1 lead in the series. The only way the Habs will win is if someone orders a Tonya Harding hit on Raycroft.

It broke my heart almost as much as the day that Trevor was traded from the Canucks by the spawn of Satan. I followed how Trev was doing, but I couldn't root for his team. Being born and raised in Boston, it's required to hate the Canadiens.

The HABS picked him up from the Islanders if memory serves and it usually doesn't hehehe. As a HABS fan I can tell you I now what you mean about having it mandatory to hate the LEAFS I mean really if you are a staunch HABS fan you hate the Leafs just as if you are true blur Leaf fan you hate the HABS just part of life as a hockey fan hehehe. I used to be a Bruins fan back when Bobby Orr played then when Ken Dryden came along everything changed and I even became a goalie.

The Canadiens did pick Trev up from the Islanders. The spawn of Satan traded him to the Islanders, and then he went to the Canadiens, and then the Capitals before going back home to Vancouver (I cried when he ended up back in Vancouver, where he always belonged).

I went to the first game the Canucks played against the Islanders in New York after the trade. I walked around the arena wearing a hat that said something not so nice about Mike Keenan. Got lots of laughs and nods of agreement about that hat.

TLinden16 you are not alone on the feelings towards Keenan I know alot of guys that do not care for him including a few NHLers. I played against a few of them like Jeff Hackett in Junior and my BIL practiced with Domi in Strathroy I thin it was. My GM at work is good friends with Joe Thorton and I have played some pickup with Jason Allison his wife and her family are from London. The guys I have talked to respect him as a coach for his abilities but don't really care for how he gets the job done or his point across.

AND WE KICKED BUTT LAST NIGHT!!! I was pretty mad though because I didn't get the game...even though they said that all the Dallas Stars playoff games would be televised in the DFW area...but I don't get Fox Sports Net

But I did make frenquent trips to my computer to see how it was going. I was happy to see we won two minutes into overtime. Colorado is in trouble now

I cheer for Colorado too because of the awesome Joe Sakic! I'm a devout Leaf fan first (AND THEY WON LAST NIGHT, DSNY FN!!!!!!) but I'm always amazed by Joe's performance in the playoffs!

And even though I support the Leafs, I don't hate the Habs unless they are playing the Leafs! I always route for the Habs if the Leafs are eliminated.

I will root for the Avs only up until they come head to head with the Bruins. Only because they were able to do for Ray Bourque (one of the all time greats, and all around pretty darn nice guy) what 20 years in Boston could not, and that is to win a championship.

So...GO AVS (until you run up against the B's)

Keenan definitely gets the job done, but he does ruin players in the process. He tends to pick a player (usually someone well liked or one who is very good), and uses him as a scapegoat. Before he traded Trevor, I remember him making comments about how Trevor was the most poorly conditioned player he had ever coached, and at the time Trevor was the NHL's iron man (I can't remember exactly how many games he played, but it was up in high hundreds). He just kept on bad mouthing Trevor in the press. I have no respect for Keenan.
