Don't change anything until the official release. The listed dates are reliable, but anything can change before they go live.

Okay so I'm new to this Disney planning stuff. We're planning our first Disney vacation for Sept 2015.

If I book my stay before the FD how do you get the free dining added? Would I have to cancel my stay and rebook or is it as simple as calling someone and adding it?

You just call when the promo comes out and they will add it to your existing reservation, if there is availability. It may be necessary to change room types or resorts in order to take advantage of the deal.

SO glad POFQ is included, I'm already booked and I'm as soon as the offer is released to the general public. I'm SO excited! Our dates are Nov9-21!

BTW, what are the chances of POFQ being sold out of this promo before it's open to GP?

I'm joining in the wait too! I never ever thought that it could be a possibility to ever get free dining. Since we took the kids to Vegas last year we figure we owe them a trip to Disney for their fall break this year. Their break is actually October 4-18, but if the dates on the original post of this thread are reliable, I'd be more than happy to check in on the 3rd! It's a 14 hour drive but we could leave after school on Thursday and make it. If that's the case:

Disney here we come! October 3-11, 2014

We've never stayed on property (have always rented a condo in Davenport), so have never experienced the real magic of Disney. I can't wait to just park our car and not worry about a thing, including dining

I'm concerned that my dates for FD will be gone if I wait. I'm prepared to call at 6 am on Thurs but you never know. Is there a DOWNSIDE to changing them now just in case, and then if the dates aren't right, changing them back? Is there a charge now for changing?

I am so excited about this. Planning on coming back to Disney November 15-22 for our 10th anniversary with the kids. Never have gotten free dining before.

Howdy neighbor! We are in M-burg. There is no downside, but there is no advantage, either. It will be based on availability under the promotion at the time you try to add the code, so booking now doesn't help. There is no charge for changing unless it is within 45 days. Phone lines open at 7am EST.

So our plans may now change Our original dates were Sept 27-Oct 6th..but with FD coming out until December, we are now thinking we might want to go so we can see the Christmas décor!!! My question is, when do the Christmas decorations go up? We've never seen Disney at Christmas!!! Also, when does the Christmas party usually start? Thanks!!!
