ITS COMING -Nov. 2014 Free Dining - waiting, watching, wishing & worrying thread

Wait to book your dates until its actually released, it would be such a shame if you changed your plans entirely on something that isn't 100% for sure yet... Its only 100% when your informed through Disney.

You can get the Free Dining as long as the first day of your stay falls within the date range for the promotion, right? We are Nov. 15-24. The 15th is included, but the promo looks like it may stop on the 20th. We would be covered for the whole stay though wouldn't we?

Yep, whole stay.

WOO HOO!!! We just got a Disney Chase last week!! and our dates fall in that time frame if the first post has been updated properly!

Awesome, perfect timing!! :thumbsup2 We're booked for 7 nights at Coronado Springs beginning Oct 24 but if the dates are right we'll be changing those fast to get our FD! Can't wait!

Wow, what a week! First the additional FPs that started yesterday and now the FD promo for the fall and not just September! Hopefully, SDMT will be opening soon too!

so who is this 'source'? don't need a name but how does this 'source' know? i'm wondering if this is just someones educated guess. i'm hoping that it is correct information but i wouldn't go so far as to change any of my plans on a 'source' unless i could verify the 'source' was good.

anyone know?

Travel Agents, both Disney's own and 3rd parties. Same info is being reported all over the internet. Believe what you wish.

The original source is from Brazil, the same as it has been for the last several FD releases. It's solid.

I'm going to let me TA know that it is OK to change my dates. Looks like we need to check in one day early .... 11/20. So excited! Now to convince dh to leave work early :) I couldn't convince him back in 2012 and we got lucky in 2013 because the saturday before Thanksgiving was included.

I was in Disney in mid-November, and the resorts were not yet decorated. FYI.

Its true that not all of the decorations are up by November 7th. We have been there at the beginning of the month and not everything is ready for the holidays. The Christmas Party starts, but not every resort is decorated. We normally check in at Thanksgiving and everything is up by that date. I would say if you are planning a late November trip you should see everything that is decorated. Anything earlier and its hit and miss.

So excited!!! Looking for some advice please. We booked POP in February from 13th - 20th November. Would like to have the Regular Dining plan so planning to try and upgrade to a moderate as it's not much more than paying to upgrade the dining plan from Quick Service. I am in Ireland so dread to think how much it would cost to hold for three hours to modify my booking so my question is could I just do a new booking online when free dining becomes available and then cancel the Pop booking?

Thanks

SO EXCITED...

I JUST got off the phone with a CM and she said that they've all been put on overtime on THURSDAY after I told her I'd be calling her back to change my ressie on that day! And she said 'wink wink!' ;)

If that isn't proof of Free Dining, I don't know what is! :rotfl:
