Good lord it is freezing out! I know it isn't as cold here as some of you, but it is 1 degree and windchill of -20 right now, way too cold for me one way or another! BRRRR!

Kat - so sorry to hear about the salary reduction, however i'm SO happy to hear you still have your job. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that business picks up! And don't you worry about emotionally eating for one day, you are just fine....

Liz - you had questioned about Bruce de-stressing from his (yes terribly stressful job). He is into martial arts, he is a black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate, and just this year took up Tae Kwon Do, so that is his best outlet. Also, we refuse to let each other dwell on work, we have a 15 minute pow wow when we first get home, to get it off our chests and out of our system, and then that is it, no more. It really helps us leave work at work, and spend the little time we do get with each other enjoying ourselves.

Way too cold here too. High of 27 today and low of 9. I know that doesn't sound like much to you northern types but this is NORTH CAROLINA!! It shouldn't BE that cold!!

We have a dauchaund. He doesn't even want to go outside to potty. He comes back in shaking so hard.

It depends, although it is likely your internet connection. Is it streaming video or audio? What size is your monitor? Is your connection wired or wireless? What are your symptoms? What kind of computer do you have? What is your internet connection (broadband - DSL, broadband - cable, dialup, etc)?

Like, we want to to netflix streaming movies through our TV, and the computer we have attached to the tv is not high-powered enough to render the picture. So, the effect we get is like frame.. frame... frame... Almost like someone was taking a picture of the movie every 2 seconds and sending the picture through.

Here's us at Christmas two years ago. I had just come home from WDW so that's my tan. About forty pounds ago - not sure where I was at in weight loss. Somewhere in the middle. That's the sister that I was talking about Lyz. And Jean's the one who isn't pink.

I have no idea what we were up to besides having fun in my parent's kitchen.

My sis is cute. Those are not good pics of her. Here's a better one. That's her family - two of my nieces ( I have four ) and one of my nephews (I have two).

My computer. All I know is it's a Toshiba notebook. I don't know it's Ram and speed or whatever the it is.

My dad's internet's only costs him $10 a month so I think we can guess that's an issue. It's not dial up but you know.

But it does this at home and I have a strong internet feed.

It's a podcast - no that's not the word - webcast? Oprah. And even youtube stuff takes long to load. This podcast is going on and off. And I'm trying to hear about sex.

Kat - it could have been worse... I got a similar memo late on Thursday telling me what they were cutting, but the important thing was that they are not projecting lay offs. 7% less salary is a heck of a lot better than 100% less salary...

I am -3lbs

I think that might be my biggest weight loss ever!

That brings me to -8 since 1/1/09 so if i can keep it off I already hit that goal for the challenge just have to continue working out!

I exercised 4 times this week and am -1lb. That brings me to -3.5 since Jan 1st. I have 4.5 to go for the month.

I woke up hungry (stomach growling hungry!) and forgot to weigh before eating and drinking. Yes, that little extra counts for me.

Off to wash my hair ~ why the heck didn't I do this last night?!?

Whoops. Forgot me. I'm down 2.1. Happy. Exercise - check - good. Eating consciously - hit and miss but fine.

Steph - did I miss you? Or something. I must go back.

Look at all you losers out there!!! Awesome job... truly

Back from my trip and both my wallet and my stomach are a little heavier. Won some cash at the casino and ate a little too much. Back to training tomorrow so all should be good.

Too tired to chat tonight, but I'll touch base with you all tomorrow.

Hey! I am here! Just been on the go all day. Thanks, Lisa, for thinking of me. And yes, I have been a bit off, but I think I am coming back into my own, so to speak.

TODAY...as we know, was FREEZING. But what did I do? Run. OUTSIDE. I only did 3 miles (mostly due to time, though) and I was totally fine. I was really proud of myself for doing it, because I really wanted to blow it off today. It is so hard to be motivated in these temps.

Then, since the kids couldn't get out today, I taught an aerobics class in my living room! It was HI LAR IOUS. When Jeff came home from work, there we were...music blaring and I had my aerobics instructor's "voice" on. ("And march it out for 4...3...2...and hamstring curls, let's go!" All in time to the music.) The kids had a ball.

Food...ok. Started out fine, but on a whim, Jeff called and wanted to meet for lunch, so we went out for Thai (which I love). And although I didn't overeat by any means, it likely put me over the top. No way to calculate how many calories. But I continued to eat sensibly (and very lightly) the rest of the day.

I don't like Renee Zelwigger. (Yeah, that's probably not the right spelling.) She acts like she's such a tiny little woman. With a small voice. Yuck.

She has a home here, in my town. She is a member at the same golf club where Riley plays golf (also the same club where the former President plays). I have never met her though.

Kat (cause I can't find the hug). Your candor is refreshing. Wallow. Just do it good. Tomorrow is a new day.

Word. Hang in there. It is totally ok to give into the grief once in a while Just don't let it own you.

Crazy day today.

Decent workout. Decent food...but didn't track

Had more goat babies born today. It's friggin' cold. Babies and momma are now resting comfortably....in my basement

Have an 8:00 am appointment with the trainer - then off and running (figuratively at least ) for the day. Hope everyone has a happy, healthy, and WARMER Saturday!!!
