"I Want To Go Back!!!"....a Sept 2010 PTR(upd 10/12-TR Started!)

So do you like your hair?? :goodvibes I am going to go in a few weeks, at my next hair appointment, and chop it some more! :thumbsup2

Love your list of to dos. I do the same thing. I don't think I have ever done everything at the Magic Kingdom in one trip. I can't to find out if you're able to do it and how.

Sorry about your computer scare. I burn a disk of my pictures before I clear a card. I also have most pictures stored on my external hard drive. As I was reading the posts about pictures I pulled up my hard drive. It has a program called picasa, right now it is coping all the pictures I haven't put in there yet which includes our Feb Disney trip. Thanks for the reminder>:thumbsup2

Hey! Did you post a picture of your hair and I missed it? Also, just realized you changed your avatar!!! I think I noticed it the other day, but was on all that sinus med and it didn't register!! How short is your hair? I bet it is really still long since it's curly! But I know you will feel the difference when the heat kicks in!!!!

glad you at least got a partial list back! i've never done one before but now that me and DBF heading off on such a big trip on our own its probably necessary?!

looking forward to seeing the new hairstyle!:thumbsup2

I love it! I haven't had it this short in quite some time. I now have to remind myself to not use so much hair product!

Thanks! In all of my trips to WDW, we've always accomplished everything at the MK in one trip (well, the things we like/want to do). As a kid (before FP), we used to tour the park in a counter clockwise pattern. We'd start in Adventureland and work our way around. We never left the park unhappy. Everyone always got to do everything they wanted.

Losing the laptop (temporarily) really stinks. I hate this desktop computer! The keyboard is so loud and the keys kind of stick a bit. I can't wait for the new hard drive to come for the laptop!

I haven't posted a picture yet, so don't worry. :goodvibes I'll probably post one after this weekend. I'd say my hair is about chin length. If I were to straighten it, it would probably touch the top of my shoulders. Since it's curly, it always bounces up and looks shorter. It feels SO healthy right now and my hair is always much curlier when I cut it shorter. It's not all weighed down (I have a lot of hair).

I'm so happy to have my list back! When I start packing (the day before a trip), I print off my list and then cross things off once they're packed. I even make short lists on post-it notes for an overnight stay. I don't like to forget anything!

Can't wait to post hair pics!

oooh - I'm glad you found your list! When I was planning our trip, I emailed a copy to myself all the time just in case.

I can't wait to see your hair pics! I was thinking of chopping my hair off the other day too, but I need to wait until we are done with some weddings. I'm always jealous of girls with wavy or curly hair. My hair is so straight and doesn't hold a curl for very long. Do you love the shorter length as we head into warmer weather?

That's such a good idea to email your list to yourself! I'm going to go do that!

I do like having shorter hair in the summer months. My hair is always pretty easy though. I just put some leave-in conditioner in it and some mousse; then I let it air dry. My hair actually loves the humidity! That humid air makes my hair even curlier! I probably should have waited until AFTER my dance recital to cut my hair, but oh well! I'm dancing in one of my dances (since I had someone drop out) and we're wearing our hair in a low bun. Well, my hair can hardly fit in a ponytail right now!

Phew! I'm finally all caught up! I've been subbing so much the last two weeks and I can't Dis there (well, I can look at it a bit on my phone during planning period, but it takes too long to reply;)) and when I'm at home I've been busy too - I actually have a few clients now! So, I'm looking forward to next week - only one sub day - yay! Love all your new shopping purchases! Kudos to Tony on the weight loss AND the baseball team, how cool is that!!!:thumbsup2

I know what you mean about being busy. I didn't work at all last week, but I was busy with so many other things. That is so great that you have a few clients! I'm still looking into things with some travel agencies. After the ON bill came a few days ago, I was REALLY told that I need to stop shopping!!!! I went a little crazy I guess. Tony has a baseball game today and I'm so bummed that we can't go to it. Madison has a birthday party at the same time.

Hi everyone! I really wanted to post an update yesterday, but we were really busy. Madison had her class feis yesterday and got a 2nd place medal! Everyone that participates gets a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medal. Unlike a real feis, you don't get a medal for each dance. All your scores for your dances are added up, so she got 2nd place overall. She did so great! Also unlike a real feis, all of the kids get comments for each of their dances. So, Madison now knows what she needs to work on (she mostly needs to focus on turning out her legs). The first real feis of the season is the Buffalo Feis on June 5th. Less than 2 weeks away! She'll be doing lots of practicing these next 2 weeks.

I mostly wanted to log on yesterday to celebrate my 4 MONTH MARK!!! :cool1::banana::woohoo::yay: WOW! 4 months from now I'll be at WDW!!! I'm so excited, but I still don't know how to occupy my time until then. I have no planning to do. Just in case you didn't hear...touringplans.com changed the way they do their crowd calendar. It was a bit confusing at first, but I think I finally understand it. They also changed their best and worst parks around a bit. That won't change our plans though, because I don't really pay attention to their best days. They say to always avoid the park with AM EMH unless you are a resort guest and have park hoppers. Well, that's us!!! I was also surprised that they sometimes the park they say is the best has PM EMH that day. So like I said, it's kind of confusing.

Ok, on with the lists!!!! Here is our Must-Do list for Epcot:

-We have to get our free Disney Visa picture. So far, we've gotten our pic with Mickey & Minnie and Minnie & Goofy. They always capture such wonderful pictures!!
-IllumiNations - Besides Wishes, I always have to see IllumiNations. The music is beautiful!
-Spend lots of time in WS - I really want to explore the countries we've neglected in the past. We always seem to see all of Mexico, Norway, and Germany. In June, we also spent a lot of time in Canada.
-Kim Possible - Madison loves these missions. So far, she's done Mexico, Germany, China and Japan.
-Test Track - a family favorite. I've only been on TT once!!!! :scared1: After waiting over an hour to ride it in June, I felt sick to my stomach right before we boarded. It was our last day of our trip and my sinus infection was ridiculous.
-Soarin' - my all time favorite ride!!! Back in June, it was our last ride of the entire trip. I managed to sit in the very middle section of seats, front row, EXACT middle seat!! It was a great way to end the trip.
-Spaceship Earth - again, we love this attraction. Dame Judy Dench has the most soothing voice.
-Beer in Germany - Tony really loves the Becks beer in Germany. We usually get a nice soft pretzel to share too.
-A meal at Sunshine Seasons - In my opinion, this is the best CS restaurant in all of WDW. Tony and I usually split the rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. The strawberry shortcake there is amazing.

Our new hard drive has still not arrived. It should be here tomorrow!! I took a few pics yesterday, so I hope to post them soon!

How exciting we've both hit our 4 month marks!! :cool1:

I've been catching up on your Must-Do lists. They look great!

And they've helped inspire me to get back on track with our Must-Dos. The last time I toyed with them (my "pre-lists", I guess? oh boy, if DH knew, he'd have me see a therapist!), they kept getting longer and longer!

Great Epcot list. I always say I'm going to spend more time and WS and just never really get to do it. I want to see all the entertainment.

I can't believe 4 months from now I'll be in my happy place. :goodvibes It's so exciting.

Thanks! I know what you mean about lists getting longer and longer! I have a "Before We Leave" list that is a mile long.

Great Epcot list. I always say I'm going to spend more time and WS and just never really get to do it. I want to see all the entertainment.

Thanks! I just adore WS. It's just so pretty and there are so many things to see. I have lots of Epcot time planned, so hopefully we'll accomplish a lot.

Hi, I just found your PTR and I'm subbing. popcorn:: You've got some great plans. Love all of the shopping you did too. ;)

:woohoo: for being under four months. Yay for Madison doing so well.

I took a look at the TP's best/worst park days. I wonder if they will update them closer to our trips. Some have changed but there are a few that do not make sense either for my trip dates.

That's great that Madison did so well at her feis!

I love the list. I can't wait to try Kim Possible...our neighbors just got back from WDW and I told them to try it out and they really loved it.

Congrats to Maddie!! That's also awesome that she gets comments-- how else can one improve if you don't really know what you're doing wrong?
Exploring the neglected countries is definitely our goal next time, too-- we too spent soo much time in Germany and Norway. I don't think we set foot in Morocco or Canada.

Wow, I didn't realize you got your haircut so short! It must feel great! Can't wait for the pics!

Congrat's to Madison! How many weeks of school left? DS only has 1 week of nursery school left. His last day is June 1st. It's gonna be sad for me to know he's so BIG now.

The crowd calendar is definately a bit more confusing than it used to be, but I'm ok with some days being a 1!!!

She did great on Saturday. We're so proud of her!

Thanks! Kim Possible is a lot of fun for everyone. There are some great little surprises.

Her teacher and I are always telling her to turn her feet out. Maybe now that some judges told her the same thing she'll actually listen!

I really want to take more time in Italy, Japan, Morocco, France and the UK in Sept.

Yeah, I did cut my hair pretty short. It's in a ponytail right now but all the bottom layers are falling out!

Madison's last day of school is June 22nd. I can't believe 2nd grade is coming to an end.

On a side note.....does anyone watch LOST?? The series finale was last night and I can't stop thinking about it!!! I hardly got any sleep last night because I kept replaying things over and over again in my head. I'd love to hear what anyone else thought about it!

Congrats to Madison! That is great how well she did!!!!

Ughh..computer issues are the worst!!!

Love your Must Do lists....Kim possible is so much fun!! Even as an adult I loved doing it LOL!! I might have to do another mission LOL!

:cool1::banana:YAY for being at 4 months!!!! :banana::cool1:
